He didn't exactly say two people would die, he said there was a PROBABILITY that 2 people in that room would die. Which means, he was not 100% certain they would. Mr Bang almost died, but survived - maybe that probability got screwed with that.

Actually, when I watched Empress Ki, I thought the same. He had some vibes of Jaejoong (JYJ), but he also made me remember Changmin (TVXQ). It was crazy!!
It's actually sth the fandom jokes, about how JCW is a mix of both. So, I can understand her comment.

Sometimes, I find him similar, sometimes I don't. I find him more similar with CM, but he's actually handsome in his own way. ^^

True that. I was about to give up watching this because of the comments, but I'm glad I still decided to watch it. It's still addicting. Yes, the plot is not great and I do notice some flaws, but I haven't felt bored till now, even on the beginning episodes, so it's fine for me. I'll judge it right when it ends, too.

Why Kang Dong Joo? He didn't have any relationship with her..
Let me explain:
Seo Jung had a boyfriend who died in the car accident, right? That guy cheated on her with that nurse! And that nurse got pregnant and had that baby (we see her in the end with the kid's wallpaper photo). Kang Dong Joo knew she was cheated on but never said anything.
I also wanted her to find out..

It is but weirdly is not from the part it's supposed to (and that's great!). After 2 episodes it goes back to normal^^

I didn't feel that happening made up for everything else he did in the past, so I didn't buy it. :) But then again, it's useless for me to discuss it now bc I don't really remember many things from it anymore xD

At first, it's all about the 8th prince. They have an intense romance, and the 4th barely appears. Just in the other half.
The 10th prince and his fiance were always fighting, and she and HS/Rouxi fought a lot until HS actually helped them as a pairing ^~^ The 13th had a lover, but since the beginning.... im not going to spoil much! I don't think they're going to give her the same treatment as in the original one, i hope so haha

The 4th seemed very cold and somehow it's a bit similar to JunKi's character, but he didn't have any scar or family problem. I don't really remember a problem with his mother, tho. She seemed to treat him normally :o Maybe I don't remember.
The 8th is similar to the korean version, just that he is way more ambitious in the chinese one. I was going to say sth but that will be a big spoiler to the kversion (unless they don't follow that) so I'll be quiet ^^

I think the major difference is the script/flow of the story. In the chinese version they care about politics a lot. You have two groups - the group of princes who support the 4th, and the group who supports the 8th. And since the beginning they're trying to get the throne.... no matter the consequences. They show more human characteristics in a way.. everyone has a bad side, including the princes!

HS/Rouxi was also more active and funny :) She actually goes to the past bc she has an accident, yet it's not about drowning... i dont quite remember. She's actually pretty clever, and the King likes her a lot.

I already watched it on MOTELx (a portuguese horror movies festival) and I have to say this is nothing near the first one. Not funny at all, the romance was so japanese-style and the whole plot was lacking... not much action and many flashbacks too.. >.< I was so excited for this that I even brought a friend :/

I don't usually like these kinds of dramas, but I enjoyed this one - but my favorite will always be Coffee Prince, tho (hahaha). Yet I have to say this was the cross dressing drama more realistic so far, at least for me. Her voice and movements were all boyish, and it wasn't like those other dramas where the boy is obviously a girl... ^^

Hmmm I watched the first episode and found it boring. Should I keep going, does it get better? I've just heard good things about it, but...

I just finished this... started in January. I needed a lot of «strength» for that.

I don't have anything against his acting ^^ I just think his characters are not my thing! He seems to play usually the same kinds of roles, which I'm not rly a fan of! No, White Christmas I watched ;)

I never liked a drama with this actor.... but never got anything against him or his acting.... just the characters weren't interesting... In High Society he was like that, too! Annoying! The other couple saved the drama for me!
