A show about a hospital that has never heard of a disaster recovery plan and never once run a drill. The characters vacillate between panic-stricken hysterics and plain befuddlement. I get it, they're not a general hospital but still not a single staff member seems to have any semblance of grace under pressure.
Add in the last bunch of first responders you'd ever want lighting up the sirens and this show almost reaches the so bad its good category. Unfortunately, it falls short and is just not very good.
Akamine despite being wildly crazy acting most of the time turned out to be the most honest, straight forward, intellectually and emotionally consistent character. For me she carried the last few episodes after I gave up on the nonsense of the main couple.
FL is a hard worker and energetically bouncing and running everywhere. Yet, other than dunking wet suits and hanging them up, nothing else she does actually looks productive. Currently I'm watching her "clean up" storm debris and removing random nails from boards while wearing flip flops. Really not much bearing on the show, but once I start to notice goofy details that's all I see.
Tried twice and gave up. ML is just too weird. I guess the slow moving expressionless nonstop stare down style is supposed to be seductive. It was just creepy to me.
