No, it's not just you. I had to google them lol. But for me, it could be because there are so many fractions and names to remember at one go (so hard to pin the name to a face, they all look alike lol). Not to mention there are so many with the same surname (fathers and sons, grandfather and grandson, grandfather and father). I'm at ep 15 now and the names (and faces) are starting to stick. So hang in there, mate!

Thank you so much for this link. I watched drama when I was a teenager (more than 30 years ago) and I've been missing this so much. It's definitely one of the most memorable drama back then. After years of trying to trying to find it, I finally found it today. Yay!
I'm also so disappointed with this storyline with Ba Bi. Technically he never cheated on Yumi and he took precautions as not to. But his heart says something else, he couldn't help it. All in all, I'm happy Yu Mi is ending it with him. She deserves to be a man's one and only.

She's such a hypocrite. As she was saved from death by Gu Ting Ye 3 times, she told him she owes him with her life and will go anything for him. Then when he asked for her hand in marriage, she insisted she's not willing to marry him? Her memory fades so fast? Pfft! And GTY keeps on bragging to everyone how he's very straightforward when he wants something, yet he cocooned such a complicated plan to marry Ming Lan? Hence why I couldn't ship the main couple, they are both a load of sh#t!
I just want want to say that I love your review so much, that I actually went to your profile to read all the other reviews you've written. Your reviews have always been honest, extremely entertaining (I meant it in a good way) and I agree with all of them! While other reviewers get easily distracted with handsome male leads (haha), you stay focused on the drama. Well done 👍

FL's character is written as calm (which you call bland and boring), very beautiful (which I don't find her that beautiful, but beauty is at the eye of the beholder), and very smart. So I guess that's why those men like her?
I agree. This drama is sooooo stupid! I like lighthearted drama. But this is beyond light, it's just plain ridiculous. Very disappointing because I'm a huge fan of Male Lead. What a waste of his talent. The FL was such a pain to watch. She started cute, but turned so irritating! Anyway, I just want to vent that hahaha.

I'm sorry I lost 20 hours of my life watching the first 20 episodes!! I do love the male lead very much. Even then, I still couldn't get myself to finish this show. Those people who gave 10 on the rating... what were they thinking?
