It's because she was pregnant while they were filming the SP, so she couldn't film with them. I thought the way they added her voice in and kept talking about her was a nice way to keep her character there in spirit. :D

To your last (spoilerific) point: just earlier today I was ranting to a friend about how we haven't had a successful rendition of the Jinchu arc in any medium, and part of me thinks we never will because it is so, so well done. But I think this director and cast could do a lot of great stuff with it if they decide to take on that story arc. Maybe someday!

Confessions is so dark and sick but it's so, so beautifully filmed, and I think it only adds to how fascinating it is to watch. My favorite movie -- glad to see it on here!

Oh, sorry about that! It's kind of confusing, it's true. XD There's Keishichou Sousa Ikka 9-Gakari, three seasons (2006-2008), and then SHIN Keishichou Sousa Ikka 9-Gakari, five seasons (2009-2013, though they're listed as 1-4 and then 8, because the latest season is the 8th of the series). The other day I submitted regular Keishichou 1-3, but only the first season is showing up.

Okay, thanks for letting me know! The second and third seasons (different from the Shin Keishichou Sousa Ikka 9-Gakari second and third seasons) are what aren't showing up, and they aren't appearing on Inohara's actor profile page either, so I assume they'll appear in due time.
