Wanted this to be a full 9-10, but ML being a lying coward up until ep10 quite lowered it to 8.What a pity, it's…
same! I’m sad cause I love the ML actor but such a cowardly role. I get it. it’s for the story line. if he told the truth from the start or at least sooner then maybe the story could’ve been them figuring it out together. 🤷♀️ still a decent drama!
Only if you haven't seen the 20 or 30 other k-dramas featuring all this (in many cases better done).
I love fantasy/sci-fi and rom com the most. But I love watching them all-crime/mystery/action/thriller, anything. My least favorite is horror. But I did watch The East Palace and loved it. But to me it was more like fantasy and not scary. 🤷♀️ So basically anything is fair game.
I am NOT a fan of Squid Games though—same as in the USA the ‘Saw’ movies-I don’t like that stuff.

I can respect that response considering you’ve watched over twice as many kdramas as I have. And of course we don’t all have the same opinions and tastes.
I feel this drama was one of the better ones I’ve watched this year so far as new ones. But I don’t have time to watch them all. I also wasn’t a big fan of the ML in past dramas but I thought he did a good in this role. Also, I liked the FL and really hope we see her lead again and not be cancelled.
I’d like to know what kdramas you would advise me to try watching that are so much better? I may not be able to watch them asap but I’d love to get around to watching them.
I’m super surprised by the low reviews /ratings here. I thought it was pretty great. Romance, comedy, villagers, mobsters, everyone’s grandma, and more! Old school kdrama feels. It was fun to watch!
I can’t wait to see how the second half of this drama unfolds! I disagree with those on here saying the storyline and writing isn’t good. I’m loving it all so far. Now, as we all know, the last half or the last couple episodes can make or break. We shall see! ❤️ Definitely not counting the chickens until they hatch. 🤷♀️
Is this actually a romcom? The clips i have been seeing give more melo or depressing vibes.🤣I don't mind i…
Not sure but I like it. As of halfway through it’s vibes are like Melo Movie. so then yeah… but I really like it. It has depth. It does a good job with balancing a lot of elements. But if you are just looking for lighter rom com then at this point I’d say this leans more on the melodrama. ☺️
I LOVE this drama! It’s my go-to comfort watch! It’s fairly simple and straightforward (don’t be fooled by comments of not understanding, it’s really cute and simple-not to discount some of the emotions/feelings within the story—but just saying, this is very basic and simple plot, not difficult…I could see if someone was maybe skipping around or not fully zoned in you may miss a thing or two). It just has a lot of flashbacks to their high school days. It is aptly named-they are serendipitous. This is also one of my favorite OST’s! 🫶 I’ve probably watched this 10 times. 😂🤷♀️
For anyone considering watching this drama, please do. This is a very good drama. And it is that-a drama. Great story and acting and lessons. If you are just looking to watch a romance then this isn’t it. Although, there is romance and the chemistry is 🔥. But it’s not centered around that.
I got so aggravated at all the nasty characters in this…which is what dramas and good writing is supposed to do. I honestly got a little annoyed at th FL the last several episodes. I felt like she was in the wrong (just in her personal relationship) but the drama always made her out to be in the right…I felt bad for the ML. But I also kinda understand it a little. But anyways, totally worth the watch. Don’t be deterred by some of the bad reviews. It’s actually a very classy drama! ❤️
And I’m 100% team Ji Feng…I’ll leave it at that to avoid spoilers.
This drama exceeded my expectations. With all the mediocre to negative reviews I was hesitant to watch it. But I’m glad I did. it’s a solid drama. I definitely felt some of that frustration in very little screen time or building of the relationship until halfway through. But once they admitted and we see some of his perspective then it makes sense. So my advice is to watch it and withhold judgement until the end. I could see this maybe being a comfort watch drama. I just wanted to put in my comments for anyone thinking of watching. ❤️☺️
I have to wait for the last two episodes tomorrow where I live. it was frustratingly slow at times but good story and chemistry and LOVE Tan Jianci’s character. Well played. I didn’t care so much for the side characters. All-in-all I have no regrets in watching this. it was very funny-definitely lived up to the genre of business rom-com!
I’m on episode 12. I’ve read most of the reviews and comments here so hopefully I know I’m in for a long slow burn with big character development and repetitiveness and some frustrations. But I’m sucked in right now and just want to keep watching!
Not bad overall. There were really funny parts and really cute parts. The back and forth amnesia/breaking up was annoying but the end was adorable. No regret watching it! 🥰
I see that many viewers keep wondering what is actually happening with Seo-ri’s identity in this story, whether…
Thank you! It all makes perfect sense to me now. Although I wasn’t going crazy about it like a lot of others, lol. I’ve been enjoying the drama and can’t wait to watch the last two episodes. ❤️
After watching Cha Eun Woo in Wonderfools, I decided to try this out. It was cringey from the beginning and I…
I’m glad for your review. I’m on episode 11 but struggling through watching the rest of this drama. I wanted to watch it since it’s a ‘classic’/so popular. I’m still going to watch it all even if it takes me a while. i already basically know the ending since it’s so popular people are frequently talking/posting about it. Anywho…glad I’m not just crazy for struggling here!
