Lifeless is the right word. Everything feels lackluster, but Mac is just there without any emotions at all. The acting is bad. Totally bland. August does slightly better.

That's a very typical mid Thai bl with weak acting. The actor of Hero is a little better, what a surprise being nearly 30. The whole vibe is just not it. But I've seen worse and maybe it will get a little better in further episodes. Sadly I doubt we will ever get a good version of both books. What a shame.

Yeah, it's nearly 10 minutes shorter than the uncut. I could watch the uncut on WeTV with VPN but without subtitles it doesn't make much sense.

It's just the second ep. Why would I give up after just one? I have watched series that I liked overall even if I not really was a fan of the first episodes.
