Title Sisyphus: The Myth
This drama has made me realise why I hate watching airing dramas as opposed to binge watching. Most K-dramas can't justify the 16 hour long episodes, so a lot of the episodes contain too much filler because the plot has to be stretched out. I waited for today to watch episodes 5 and 6 back to back, but I don't feel like I've watched 2 hours worth of plot. Maybe 50 minutes. If it had actually been a 50 minute episode I probably would've felt like I'd got my time's worth, and I wouldn't feel so unsatisfied with it. Although binge watching doesn't take out the filler, it does make it more tolerable. It doesn't feel like a let down the way it does when I sit down expecting two hours of something I'm really looking forward to but only getting 50 minutes. Equally, dramas without filler are easier to watch week to week because they don't leave me feeling frustrated with how little of the episode was actually what I look forward to each week.
