Some of these comments are so biased like, are we even watching the same show?
At first, I also didn’t really see the title being fully executed in Ep1, but after watching 2 & 3, I feel like this is what a Maniac show should be like. Just when you think you’ve figured out where the story is going, it completely surprises you.
I’ve honestly never watched a show move this fast and still make me wonder, “What exactly are the remaining episodes going to do when this much has already happened?”
Epi 3 especially? It’s finally giving me the MANIAC vibe I’ve been wanting. The toxicity and hatred while still being in denial. Both Moth and Dean just using one another while using hateful words to intentionally hurst their feelings and it’s exactly how it should be.
Also, I think the pace is really because all these are still a flashback cos I remember ep1 showing that all so far happened in the past so I can’t wait to see how their relationship will develop and that drawer reveal almost made me cry for Moth. Really excited for next.
