Title Bad and Crazy Spoiler
Having watched this and loved it, I never read the reviews on here and I’m baffled by how low they are (even though the overall score is high). This was so much fun to watch, mainly because it was so “crazy.” On a more serious note, I was really impressed with the show’s portrayal of and treatment of mental health problems. I know many wanted K to be a separate character, but that would’ve removed the very important and timely message of not berating yourself for mental issues or trauma, not suppressing them and trying to be “normal,” and ultimately learning to face your pain and trauma and finally comfort and accept the version of yourself who suffered in the past, or even present. My review in short: “Crazy” is good.

Title Obsessed
I'm sorry but the way they shot the scene where he shot himself was unintentionally hilarious - flying through…
I actually burst out laughing, and I’m pretty sure they wanted me to cry.

I’ve been trying to fill the void by watching horror movies, The Killing Vote, and anything else I can think of, but I’m still either here or on YouTube watching fanvids, but I also am not emotionally prepared to rewatch yet.

Title The Worst of Evil Spoiler
ahahahah true. His presence and aura were so quiet, yet so powerful. Can't mess with that man
He did so much with a character who had very few lines, and one we weren’t even sure understood Korean. When he refused the light from Junmo and broke his cigarette I actually yelped. I also liked that we didn’t get any backstory for him because it heightened the suspense of whether he would protect BIBI at the end or rat her out to her father. I would pay damn good money to watch a show or movie about his life (Where’s that scar from?) before the show, or even what happens to him after he sends BIBI to safety.

Im Sung Jae stole every scene he was in. Great actor.
Seriously. I watched the scene when Gi Cheul confronts him and kicks him out several times just to see all the emotions he managed to express with his face and voice, let alone killing his lines and brandishing a cigarette.

It’s shameful that MDL doesn’t include all the cigarettes in the cast list. I’m only on ep 4 and they are somehow one of the most compelling elements lol

i think its the best to finish watching the show after its done airing cause of all the endings of each eps. even…
I’m inclined to agree, even though it’s quite frustrating. I don’t make it any easier on myself by watching older shows and movies in the meantime lol

Trying to force myself to wait for all the episodes so I don’t keep mixing up all the crime dramas in my head as they air at once. Emphasis on “trying.”

Wow they’re really doing everything they can to make this drama impossible to watch, let alone remember from episode to episode. My brain shows up to every new episode with a mix of all the currently airing crime dramas and I have to remind (aka rewind) myself of everything. I guess that’s good for them in the end because I do like the show so far and will most likely end up rewatching it as a binge so I’ll hopefully understand and remember what’s going on. Sneaky Amazon, I see you.

Yep, Mo Mi tells Chun Ae that it was Oh Nam from the assault.
I know. It makes it even more heartbreaking to watch the scenes when Mi Mo tells her she thinks of her as her real grandmother and does all the things she wished Oh Nam had done for her.

does it have bullying/torture scenes?? Cause it's 18+?
Of course! If this is your fave genre, you won’t be disappointed. It’s honestly more like Korean thriller movies à la Park Chan-Wook—including how gruesome/R-rated it is. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Yes. There is bullying (both school and elsewhere), torture, SA, murder, and a lot of violence in general. This is definitely 18+/R.
