When the issue of a difficult mother came up I pretty much knew which actress would play her. Kong Lin excels at this role. I think this is the 4th time I have seen her play the role. She is the overbearing helicopter (or in this case airplane) parent who has her own reasons for the way she is and truely loves her child but does not try to understand them. She usually comes around by the end.

In a court battle, this would hopefully be brought up. Even if he was not found at fault right now any blemish on Jiang's record could affect his chances of VP. My thoughts: In any higher up positions there are those who are about corporate ladders and those who are about the job (a pilots pilot like GNT). Unfortunately, both are needed to further the company. It is when someone becomes too focused on personal gain, like Jiang, and not wanting to, or being able to, move forward (GNT wanting to improve Jiang's safety procedures or supporting female pilots) that there is a problem.
