This show's humor is off the charts! XD I couldn't stop giggling at every little misunderstanding and rolling on the floor like an idiot from laughing so hard!
I sat down and watched this entire series in one night! XD I loved it! It was simple enough to follow and filled with characters who I actually walked away liking. There was this adorable lingering sense of watching some form of continuation of Lan Wanji and Wei Ying's relationship. It felt at times, as if I was watching some kind of Untamed AU and that just left me speechless and giggling like an idiot. XD
There is one thing that got on my nerves more than anything. The series is simple and sweet, but dammit that one trope came in and dang near ruined it all. Of course you know what I'm talkin about. You guessed it: a girl. I've already forgotten her name, but of course she had to be the childhood friend of Yi You and of course she just came to mess up the chemistry between the two leads. Dead serious, this girl came in just for the simple act of being nosy, breaking the brothers apart and then having the nerve to disappear for the rest of the series after exposing Yi Liang. -_- She had nothing else to do and quite frankly, it was a waste of a character. Other than that, I really enjoyed this slice of life and bromance. This definitely should get another season (seeing as how some feelings might have blossomed between Yi You and Liang. XD)!
As soon as I turned on the first episode I was automatically smitten by Fuyuki. He's such an adorable old man who needs company and love. I was moved to tears at how simple and heartwarming this was.
Just watched the trailer for it a couple of minutes ago....then ran through my house screaming about how I don't know when this masterpiece is coming out!!!
Plus that whole "no sex due to poison" thing had me rolling! XD It was made even more hilarious due to my reading a fan fic similar to that right before!
