I really enjoyed that show. It started out very light and like a typical romance drama, just to take a turn and opening a whole different kind of story. Wang You Shuo nailed the ML part perfectly. And thank heavens they added the last extra episode 😭🥰
I don’t get why it has such a low rating 😕 it’s a solid and good show, with a beautiful story and a thrilling plot.
The older Brother ( the limping one ) just screems evil guy. and Mr Kim ( glasses ) is totally a bad guy he fits the bill, always fixing his glasses and he is too sharply dresses 😂. anyway great 4 episodes.
I love the poster, I only have one question. Why is his original haircut back?? He cut his hair in the last two episodes of S1 and in the trailer for S2 it is short... 😅
I watched the last six episodes plus the extra and surprisingly I really loved them, although the extra did feel rushed and a bit too fantasy-like.
I got what I wanted to see which was Jiu Ling confessing her love to Rong Yu, she did it in words and in action, I feel satisfied.
Episode 26 was also quite beautiful with the flashbacks to the day of the poisoning. The theme of destiny and choices continue, letting go, starting anew or holding on.
I think once everyone watches with the English subs, they will like these final episodes more. I actually think the script writer is pretty good and I really like the dialogue between characters. The ending to RY's Uncle was also done very well.
