It is appropriate for its time. The marriage among family was very common back then, especially in the royalty. The reason why they want to marry her to the first prince is purely political power.

Do you consider Bleach adaptation supernatural fantasy? I'd recommend that one as well. It's surprisingly a really good movie. One of the best anime/manga -> Live-action adaptation I've seen in fact.

This movie just leaves you speechless, loved the main character and the actress was too perfect for her I couldn’t name a better one for this role. I liked that it had a bit of romance which gave more feels to the movie, it definitely will give you a lot more emotions and thoughts than just “bloody and thrilling.’’ The end scene when she smiles laughs with all the blood is one of my favorites.
