I don't think the episodes were cut though? I follow all kind of drama blogs and I didn't see any news on that.…
My bad. I shouldn't put it with 'episode cuts'. But unfortunately it definitely were. You can't always find the fact from the blog news. moreover they wouldn't report some kind of an unpleasant news. Because that just obvious from the beginning that the portion of this drama was 40 eps. you can see it from the plot in each episodes itself, from when they shoot it, until at one point it was slowly become lose it taste.

And also if someone really put a wrong number of the episodes, you didn't think from where that wrong number from? even at wikipedia, asianwiki, there are all put the 40 for the total episode at the first. And you think it was a mistake?

I honestly really love all the impressions in this drama. Especially at the first-half episodes, that was really-really enjoyable. it seemed had such a great storyline which is promising till the end. Even though it done in a simple way. I'm pretty sure if it doesn't had episode cuts it'll come out to be a very very beautiful drama, the ending will be much better than it already was.

i am wondering if SBS was always like this? It wasn't the first they ruin the ending by the damn episode cuts.

Title Where Stars Land Spoiler
The ending is just full of wtf??? to me....After watching the last two episodes, all I was thinking was "wtf did I just watch?" First off, not being able to see Lee Je Hoon's face in the last episode was sooo disappointing! Though I can KIND OF understand the reason why they want to show his body more... But most importantly, I still cannot understand the bullshit Soo Yeon was thinking, hoping to just be a passerby and not go through treatment??? LIKE SURE, spend the whole drama talking about how much you like the girl, but you don't like her enough to want to keep living??? Like ?????? Am I understanding this show wrong or something??
This drama did NOT do a good job of showing his inner pain and how much 'pain' he is in, to the extent of not wanting to live anymore. Sure, the story touched upon it, but definitely not impacting enough for the viewers to believe it! And isn't the point of this love story supposed to be somewhat motivating, that meeting her would change him and make him want to live on? Instead, it's like he has a random epiphany before she plunges the syringe in him..... Soo Yeon and In Woo making up was also too rushed... though I won't complain about that too much... Anyhow, it was a cute drama, and I love airport themed dramas, but there are sooo many flaws to this story, and I really don't think the story made any strong points at all -_-

Review Ashes of Love
This drama has nothing to do with TMOPB. The story is totally different, the character setting is totally different. The background about deity/demon, immortal/moral, love trial and reincarnation? It is the basic setup for all fantasy cdramas. These concepts dated back to the chinese mythology and folk stories. TMOPB is not the first cdrama to use this concept, it is just the first internationally known fantasy cdrama with this setup.

I love both dramas. For me, TMOPB is all about the acting of Mark Chao. He alone brought the whole drama one level up. The acting of rest is average good. AOL is more evenly good, plus nearly all major roles are played by actors and actresses at their middle 20s (TMOPB more 30s), they are impressively good for their age. The part that AOL beats TMOPB is the character development. All characters, no matter good or bad, are not single-layed portrayed. They are all characters with multiple sides. You will love them and then at moments you will hate them. And their characters evolved so much in the whole drama, the three lead characters are basically totally different people at the end of the drama yet very logical. The character development in TMOPB is really only focus on main leads, especially YeHua. Most of characters inside has no arc of development, especially the villains, the classic jealous girls. However in AOL all villains has their backstories, even the jealous girl role has her moment of softness, In the end, you hate them so much yet you still feel sorry for them.

I would say, by only watching two episodes, you really missed the best part of this drama. It is fun to watch the characters changed by all kinds of situations, no matter ended up to a good direction or a bad one.

gettin real sick of storylines where the girl has to ""become beautiful""" (i.e lose weight) before a boy will fall in love with her. lame.

Let's be honest here people. This isn't just a Korean problem. Setting beauty standards and fat shaming is a problem around the world. Just because western countries don't really produce films like this doesn't mean it's not an issue, all it means is they know how to dodge law suits. In western countries fat shaming is a tongue in cheek thing.
"oh she's so gorgeous, if she'd just dress a certain way (which baiscally means if she wore a particular something to make herself look slimmer she'd be a stunner)." All the western world has done is cloak insults with complements. Because being fat is so unslightly and we should all care how people perceive us. Even plus size models, they call them curvy but all they are are just normal healthy woman.
This subject is sooo old, I'm tired of it. It'll never change. Society is just so critical of everything even skinny girls get shamed. You can't win.

Sincerely
A Fat Girl
