I really loved Hana Yori Dango with Matsumoto Jun and have watched it many times. “Have you ever eaten a fig? When you cut a fig in half, it looks like a heart. That’s why they say its bitter sweetness is the flavor of love. But to me, the flavor of love tastes like that lousy cookie you made…” I love that line and HYD has many others worth remembering. Meteor Garden is another favorite. Boys Over Flowers had it's own qualities but left me with the strongest feelings that she should have ended up with the second lead... The only one I haven't seen is Hana Nochi Hare. Thank you for your article and can you please tell me on what website I might be able to see it. Thanks again.
Okay. I am so pissed at her ex and bestie rn. I wasn't when they fell in love... I even forgave them when they didn't tell her but rn I understand why they did what they did. They, especially her best friend have always looked down on her. Never thought she can do anything on her own, she is not strong enough, she is dependent on her boyfriend, she is willing to give up her career for her boyfriend because pipi didn't have a strong personality she was always like a shadow to them but friends don't look down on you but they always did. Last episode made it clear when her exbestie said those words to her. But guess what... Pipi has changed so much. A lot of character development since helan entered her life. Love makes you strong and always inspires you to become a better person. Now she has so much confidence in herself. She takes stand for herself. She now knows what is love. Btw I forgive jialin because he is actually apologetic. He was since the day they left for America and he gave her a heartfelt apology but her exbestie is reallytoo much. She always looked down on her and she never really apologised to her even when she was trying to apologise that looked like it was an excuse to tell her that she broke and and even if she broke up with him she is still above her. *Feels good after all the ranting*

Yeah,it would be like us saying to you how to see things , when you have to see them and define them for yourself. Ladytears and many others think that the cycle just starts all over again,almost like OS achieved nothing, but in my case - I think he paid his debt and is free to start anew with the girl he loves.Of course ,the curse is waiting for next generation , but even though it's terrible,I don't think it can't be solved and dealt with.Maybe I'm just overly positive,but that's how I like to see things
My favorite so far, Hana Yori Dango, all seasons and movie. I give 11/10 ratings for all of them. I've watched Boys Over Flower too but I keep coming back to HYD again and again.
Now I'm very excited that Hana Nochi Hare is airing. The sequel with the cameo of Domyouji, Tama and Nishida really makes me excited and bring back all those memories. My current obsession is Hana Nochi Hare but HYD will always have a very special place in my heart.
