I haven't watch the original but I definitvely will this summer. I usually prefer korean dramas so I'm really exited about this drama and Joo Won is just so good in everything he does that it makes me even more exited.
So I finally watched the last episode and honestly, I quite liked it. I'm a sucker for happy ending but since…
Also,DS's death was too abrubt and left me saying: that's it? IT felt like the episode wasn't over, it felt a little incomplted but I still enjoyed this episode and LOOOOOVVVVVEEEED this drama. And to be honest this ending is still better than most other kdrama endings despite it's many flaws in my opinion.
So I finally watched the last episode and honestly, I quite liked it. I'm a sucker for happy ending but since I saw Dong-Chan's death comming since the beginning of the drama, I wasn't shocked by it and I didn't mind it.
I'll admit that his motivation for his suicide wasn't very logic. I wish they would have elaborated the prophecy a little more and would have gave a justification, even a ''silly'' one to why only one could live. It would have made his suicide a lot more logical in my opinion. I'll also admit that a the whole DS's get crazy and loose his memory when he's drinking was a little far-fetched and so were some other plot related things.
I agree that a lot of villains in kdrama are boring but I disagree about most villains in this list. To me, Moon Il Seok,Lee Jin Pyo,Choi Jin Cheol were quite relatable, realistic( well realistic when it comes to ''movies'' and ''dramas'' of course) and interesting villains. And to me Han Jae Hee was definitively the most interesting character in Nice guy. And I loved Jo Moo Cheol.
To be honest, I haven't watched the last episode yet but I'm surprised to see that so many people are surprised/shocked or/and dissapointed about this ending. To be honest, I'm a sucker for happy endings and I usualy wait until a drama is finished airing because I can't deal with sad/open ending but to be honest, since episode 2-3 I stoped expecting that Dong-Chan would survive in the end so I had time to ''deal with it''. I wish he would have survived (that being said, some people seem to think he did)but for once, I can deal with a bittersweet/open ending. I hope I will still be satisfied once I actually see the episode that being said.
The only thing that make me sad is actually not Dong-Chan's ''possible'' death but the many comments from fans on other websites that hate the ending and that apparently regret watching this amazing drama because of it.
I'm currently watching episode 11 and I can't believe how good that drama is. When I watched the first two episode I thought there was no way it could get better than that but I was wrong! Every episode is so incredible. It reminds me of Nine nine times travel, a lot of suspense, emotions and great acting!
I have a question guys, I'm curenttly watching episode 14 and I don't understand how Chun Song Yi and Lee Hwi Kyung got so badly injured, especially LHK. Didn't hey fell on a mattress(and then on the ground)? Am I missing something here?
