I'm currently watching this and I'm kind of confused. Who are the little girl parents??
I see! Thank you! Honestly, I started this drama a while ago but I had to put It on hold for a while and when I got back into it, I couldn't remember who her parents were supposed to be and I kept trying to figure it out while watching the episodes. Now I will be able to focus on the actual plot ! :P
He's handsome but I have to say, when I saw him in School, I thought it was bad casting because I was sure was easily in his late twenties because he has such a mature look and look older event too he has that ''cute charm'' about him. I'm shocked to learn he's only 20.
Agree with all of these, except maybe Goblin but even for that one, I can see why people could love it so I'd recommend it. Signal and the first Reply season are definively two of my ''must watch'' dramas of all times. I'd also add to the list
1.Gap Dong. A lot of people didn't like it but for me, it was one of the most engrossing dramas I've watched.
2.Heart to Heart
3.I Need Romance 3
4.Liar Game (Not for everyone but pretty addictive in my opinion)
5.Second Time Twenty Years Old
6.Tomorrow With You
and two of my favorite dramas of all times:
7.Nine: Nine Times Time Travel
8.The Three Musketeers
I used to hate watching currently airing dramas but I've been doing it a lot more lately and it's true that it keeps you engrossed. That being said, I eventually end up catching up with all the episodes that have aired and life gets in the way and so I put it on hold for a day, or two, then it becomes a week and so eventually, I'm weeks behind and no matter how I try, I can't get back into the dramas, even if I loved them. I ended up not finishing a lot of dramas that had good chances to become favorites of mine because of this.
After finding out that she will be the only survival... Just can't bring myself to watch this. Too difficult…
Yeah. I'm almost 100 % sure that they're trying to make us believe she's the ''only'' survivor for shock value and manipulate us so we'll be surprise that there is one or a few other survivors.
Due to its premise, comparisons to the hit U.S. TV show "Lost" is inevitable. But Choi promised "Missing…
I think that the director of Missing Nine may have only read the synopsis of Lost and didn't really look more into it than that and I doubt he ever watched it because while the mistery of the island is an essential part of Lost, it's just as much a story about a bunch of intesting characters that reflect on their life before they got on the Island and their future if they eventually manage to leave it.
Now I'm sure that Missing Nine will have it's own flavor and even if it ends up being similar, I'm sure I will love it since Lost in my favorite show of all time. But yeah, I'm ridiculously excited about this show! Similar to Lost or not, it's not every day that you see that kind of concept and to me, any drama or movie about people being isolated and survival stories is interesting and if the characters and their personal journey is the focus, then even better!
People who rate dramas after only watching 1 or 2 episodes.... it's fine if you're going to drop it…
I hate when people do that! What annoys me the most in that is that Mydramalist is a very well made website and you can rate eah episode individually. Use that feature instead if you have watched only a couple episodes and want to rate what you saw. Write a review and mention that you have DNF this drama and explain why and where you stopped. Write a post about how you feel about the drama this far.
But don't rate the drama! A drama's ratings should be based on the whole drama, not part of it. You can't rate the entirety of a drama if you have only seen parts of it (or if you have not even watched it yet but just hate 1.The writer 2. The actors 3. Had a bad day and want to take it all out on a drama...).
''No one wants to see a weak-willed female lead in a drama.'' I read this type of comment in a l of reviews and to be honest, it always annoys me a bit because I desagree. I agree that ''a lot of people'' don't want to see this type of lead in a drama. I understand and respect those people's opinion. But it's incorrect to say that ''no one'' wants to see that. Because I personally don't mind it at all and I even enjoy it very often. And I'm sure that I'm not the only one. I doubt that many people agree with me but I also doubt that no one does.
Personally, I like those type of characters because it's not realistic to have only ''strong'', ''fierce'', ''independent'' female lead. Not everyone is like that. No everyone is Katniss freaking Everdeen. Some people are way more like Bella Swan than Katniss. A lot of people are flawed and are overly emotional, emotionally dependent on people, naive and have other characteristics like these that would make unfit to be called ''a strong'' female lead. I mean, sometimes in life, you do ''take all kind of craps from people'' all the times. I'm not saying that it's right but some people actually are like that and take crap from everyone.
Now I also love more ''strong'' characters. But more than anything, I love to see all kind of different female leads.

I seem to be the only one wanting to watch because of Joo Sang Wook. For me he never disappoints. I'm always…
I haven't started this one yet but if I do, it's definitively going to be mainly because of him too! He's such an underrated actor. He has one of the best actors I know when it comes to comedy and he's just as good in more dramatic role and parts of drama. But I also really like Park Shi Yeon so I'm excited about this one.
I wish people would stop voting it lowly only an episode has aired! I thought it was a really engaging and great…
Honestly, rate the episode you watched. Give it 0.0/10 if you want but don't rare an entire drama based on 1 (or a couple of episodes). People who do this annoys me so much to be honest.
Is it just me or is Taec Yeon's acting not too bad in this? I mean, I think he just has one of those faces that…
To me, he was one of the worst ''idol actors'' when he first started. I almost couldn't watch his scenes in dramas because it was so bad (in my opinion) and that almost never happens to me. I'm currently watching Wonderful days, wich I kept myself from watching for a long time partly because of him and I have to say, already back then he was starting to get a bit better. He still had moments where his acting felt off but it was better. I haven't started Bring It On, Ghost yet but I've watched some scenes and from what I've seen, he seems to be doing a pretty good job in it. Don't get me wrong, he's not the greatest actor but you can tell he has worked on his acting.
Ji Soo and Seo Sung Joon from Smile you all the way. Nobody remember them anymore but to me, they're still one of the cutest second lead couple from a Kdrama. And the fact that the actors are now married and have a super daughter only adds to their cuteness.

Rate what you saw. It's as simple as that!

Me: 50 episodes? YES!!!
I love long drama. There is a lot of room for growth and character development.
