I just finished this drama, and it was a very nice watch. Due to the reviews, I though I was not going to like it but I did enjoyed more than I expected. ML and FL were very cute, it had funny scenes, cringy ones, it was predictable at times too, but overall, it had a nice pace and I think most plot lines were solved. I enjoyed the FL and her workteam, those 3 really felt life-like coworkers that have a good relationship in and out of work, their interactions seemed believable.
They did wrap things nicely, it was a happy ending, and didn't feel as rushed towards the end as other dramas (looking at you My Royal Nemesis).
Watching episode 1. So far looks like a rip off of Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Undecided if I'm going to watch any more…
The first scenes did remind me of Hometown Cha Cha Cha by the way everyone knowing and interacting with Mechoori but, as the story continued, I forgot that first impression, each story has it's differences.
The OST lyrics seemed AI generated, they made no sense. Just words trown together and a melody that sounded cutish-romantic :/ The drama's idea had great potential but it wasn't fully explored. Everything looked squeaky clean as always does in k-dramas. The enjoyable parts were her best friend scenes, some cute moments from the ML and the bf scenarios. There was no real conflict, they played it too safe.
I know her only from being the MC of “Get it Beauty” and I was stunned by her natural beauty and I didn't like the change of MC. I think she is the best! Haven't seen her act, but I just started "King of baking", so here is my chance :)
