i had extra low expectations considering this was the same production (idol factory) as that one stalker boyfriend series, but i'm so pleasantly surprised with how good this is

haven't finished the last episode but i have a feeling my opinions won't change even after finishing it so... i can only give props to this show for creating a villain who was abused and continued to abuse, romantic feelings didn't sway him but he still made a good second male lead... the main couple tho - disappointing... i feel like they shouldn't have been a couple, i didn't feel any sparks between them really tho they were cute, but it was more platonic than anything romantic... everything else was kind of a miss for me... this is more of a spin off than a second season so i understand it keeping the world from do bong soon the same way it was, but i think it wouldn't have been as heavily critisized if it was a whole another series. anyways, relationships fell flat, plot was just not it and the characters were no where near interesting or developed as in the original. it's a no brain head empty type of series, good to pass time.

fun fact: yew wood is also used for making bows (not sure about mongolian bows - that's the type they used for historical scenes - but for example long bows are often made out of it)
also yew berries are deadly toxic for their seeds and their skin - the pulp is not toxic and it is edible

Not me thinking Gangsta Oppa shit his pants when in reality, it was old blood from his wound. I thought that was…
Kenji kinda reminds me of japanese style villains which are sometimes cartoonish and with overexaggerated personalities... i like that style of portraying a "bad" character but i understand not everyone's gonna like it

yo a theory: Yi Chan's accident where he loses hearing, he also loses memory... that's why in the future he keeps saying that he met Eun Gyeol's mom only when he was 20. It's not that Eun Gyeol changed their fates and made them meet at 18. It's the memory loss which made Yi Chan only remember meeting Cheong Ah later on.

idk what the intention was with that ending but seems like everyone had enough of this series... except for the team behind it

Title La Pluie Spoiler
Someone please sum up ep 12 for me cuz I don’t think I wanna spend my time watching it 😭
So Lomfon shows the script for that one class to the long haired bandana wearing friend of his (and Tien's) and the guy figures Lom's feeling for Tien since they're all friends and then, would you look at that, Tien enters the scene. Long haired guy tells Lom to show his feelings blah blah wishes him luck, to Tien too, exits the scene. Tien kinda heard they were talking about him and asks Lom what it was, the guy doesn't know what to say, as usual, but promises to show Tien his intentions through actions. End scene.
Next Nara the ex and Dream the vet get together and they, of course, talk about our favourite main couple. Wish them luck blah blah. But THEN, Dream asks Nara if she's open to new relationships - looks like we're getting a new couple in the last episode. They're lovely tho, giggling and shi
Then we get to that class the script was for. We're watching the final product of the script - the movie they had to make. “The message from the heart” presented by Lom was basically a confession to Tien with a bunch of footage of Tien taken by Lom, who would’ve guessed. Well, their friends from class couldn't guess because they start asking Tien if Lom and him are a thing or what. But Tien doesn't like that. So Tien rushes out of class, Lom follows him out. They stop to yell at each other, 2 meters of distance between them and Lom confesses (still yelling) and Tien goes and kisses him as aggressively as they were yelling. It was kinda heartfelt, almost, maybe (would've been if they weren't yelling and if Lom showed any emotion on his face... but he does smile after the kiss so that's something ig).
While still out, where they just had kissed, Tien calls Tai to tell him happy news while Lom sits back. Tai is happy about the happy news. And then they start talking about Phat who still hasn't contacted Tai - or anyone for that matter - and Tien tells Tai to basically go find Phat. Mind you, Lom was in the background the whole time, just sitting there, waiting. When Tien was finally done with the call, the happy couple goes back to class, while holding hands (that was Lom's move, good for you king)
Then we get to Tai and him remembering the stuff we saw in ep11, and his fight with Phat and what not. So, he goes to gather information on where Phat could be, from Dream. She tells him that Phat hasn't contacted them either in the last two weeks. And also, that Phat went to the coffee shop for Tai once but he saw him with Lom so there was a really classic trope of misunderstanding there and Tien gets even more determined to find Phat. Phat also told Dream that he won't love anyone but Tai and she tells Tai that, so Tai gets even more determined. And there starts Tai's journey to and through Chiang Mai.
Tai collected the names and locations of all vet clinics in Chiang Mai and he decides that the best way to go find Phat is literally visiting every single clinic (why do those people even have phones, I do not understand). On the third day of his adventure, Tai's moped breaks down and a kind soul offers him help, food, and a place to sleep over. Two kind souls, actually. A guy and his blind wife. There were some lections about love thrown here since ep11 hasn't had enough of those already, idk.
On the fourth day of Tai's expedition, he goes to some place in Chiang Mai, he gets a snack and sits on a random street. And, on that very random street, look who's there. If it isn't the second half of our favourite main couple (it is). Anyways. Tai goes to Phat, gives him a monologue about all the things he did wrong and tells him he loves him and whatever and they're crying, and they're hugging, and they're back together woohoo who cares, not me, next.
At the end Tai talks about soulmates and love and whatever over some random clips of everyone being happy where they are. He wasn't talking really, he was actually writing his story. We finish with Path hugging Tai from behind while they're on their terrace, looking far into the distance, happily ever after. The end. Fin. Done.
Or is it?
No. It's not done.
In the last scene, after we got the title card, we go back to Tien and Lom. They're going home from classes and it looks like it will start raining soon, oh no. Lom rushes back to class to get his umbrella that he forgot there. We're still out with Tien though. And when it starts raining, Tien starts getting an icky feeling. And then. The ringing in his ears. And an unfamiliar voice. "I'm sorry, can you hear me, Soulmate?" Second season, let's go (not me tho, I'm not going on that ride, I've had enough, thank you)
