After looking at the comment section I think I'd like to elaborate why I also agree with the reviews on this one. I've seen some people saying to not have high expectations going into this which I don't think makes much sense. Anyone who goes in to watch this knows that it falls into the "Light Rom-com" genre. It's not exactly a genre that people watch to see a "Signal" level master piece of a drama. The problem with this drama is that there is so little plot to go off of that after 9 episodes all the conflict and anything that gave this show somewhere to go is gone. Episode 10 on is pretty much just a combination of loud music scenes, flashbacks, brooding stares, and thats about it. Literally the plot goes nowhere. And that's the problem, not that there is so little plot to begin with but that they spent their load half way through and now they don't even have anything to work with. The characters are all so forgettable and the "cute" moments again feel like filler and a way for the writer to pad episode time since they've already written themselves into a corner. If you like like-hearted romcon with some heart I would recommend 9 end 2 outs, My First First Love, My lovely Sam Soon, Sassy gogo, splash splash love, oh my ghostess, successful story of a bright girl, weightlifting fairy kim bok joo, you who came from the stars, she was pretty, etc.
Least favorite show of the year so far. the more random things this drama keeps throwing at us, side-lining hyunmin (the best character) for no reason than to focus on the main couple. I hate you show I hate you so much.
I take back what I said. I just watched the first episode and it was really boring. The acting is stiff. The only character I like is won hae (he's the only one who's actually nice to hana). The comedy just doesn't hit. I mean gong myung impersonated yoo ah in one time too many. the characters aren't all that interesting especially the main. All I can take from episode 1 is that suk jin is guy who hates the world and all people in it and finds satisfaction in drinking alone. That's it. Don't know if I'll be sticking around for an episode 3 or maybe even 2.
The whole set up didn't sound all that original but I was willing to give it a try because TvN usually produces at least decent dramas. With this and Cinderella and the 4 knights I'm starting to loose faith in them.
how is the rating 8.3? Do that many people really just turn off their brain when they watch tv shows. I mean I…
you get what I mean though, right? like it has a really high score even though it's no where near the actual quality. I don't have a problem with people liking those shows I just don't like people rating shows based on how much they liked it rather than how well it was executed.
episode 6... And I still like HyunMin more than jiWoon. I hate having second male lead syndrome, is just a recipe…
I mean it's not your fault. Ji woon is such a horrible character with nothing redeemable about him and I'm glad that you used your intelligence to figure that out.

I didn't feel any sympathy towards the charachters, the "good" guys pissed me off more than anything…
Well the girl ended up drinking it anyways. and helped light one of the candles so.....
I think at the end of all things, the real problem was how uneven the good/bad ratio was. Most of the time really bad things would happen and then one good thing would happen. And then a horde of really bad things would happen and one good thing. There wasn't an even amount. And that's probably my biggest gripe with the show.
I also thought that maybe hyun-seo could've killed himself since he loved yeon-hui so much. and that would've killed two birds with one stone.
Other than that though not really any huge problems with the show. But I can understand your frustrations at times as I had a few after finishing the show.

the scene where they are asking those characters their wishes is meant to be a humorous scene because the girl is one of the comic relief characters of the show. Not every single second is meant to be really serious.
Lol. Actual really good dramas like MOTW get an 8.0 yet dramas with no plot, and cheesy dialogue and romance a.k.a descendants has a 9.2 you people on this sight aren't rating the shows based off of quality just based off of how much you personally enjoy it. enjoyment isn't equal to quality.
I love boys over flowers but even I know the quality of that drama is terrible.
