So Cha Dal Geon just suddenly became a murderer at the end after whole season of trying to bring criminals to…
Yeah that last ep I called BS on. Not only did he end up killing the guys he worked for, but then you’re going to tell me Black Sun was like 🤷guess you’re the only one that lived no sus here. Like c’mon!
I had been waiting for YEARS to watch this because I heard it needed a second season. So I thought I’d wait for it… 🥲 needless to say, I finally watched it and now I’m stuck in waiting for them to even mention season 2.It would be a crime for them not to have a second season since they left it so open ended. 😭
I just finished this drama looking for countryside vibes and all I can say that this gave me warmth and comfort!!!…
It’s hard for me to recommend something like this because I haven’t seen anything like it yet. I will say if you want old school and comforting I’d recommend Twinkling Watermelon. Closest thing I can think of that is as warm and gives you some sort of nostalgic feelings.
What are your hopes for season 2?-Mine are romance with FL that was teased but didn't happen. Her family's also…
One of the interactions I really loved seeing was Yi Soo with Ganghyun’s mom. At first she was just interested in him as the FL’s possible romantic interest but as the episodes went on, you could tell she really cared for him (and we see that well in the last episode too- the only time we see Yi Soo break down in front of others with everything that happened.) So I’m excited to see her push him to come over or have the FL bring him stuff and take care of him like an adoptive mom. 🥹
I also want more lighthearted areas as I thought this is where the show really shined. Plus, with Yi Soo coming back the way he did, you can’t tell me he’ll be grieving ALL of Season 2. I’m fine with him grieving a bit or having nightmares or whatnot because trauma but don’t make him do a complete 180.
And of course I want the leads to have more romantic moments between them. I just worry they will rush it for the sake of time or something. I hope they keep the slow burn and make it seem natural.
I am too but I don’t want them to rush into it either. I loved the slow burn enemies to friends to partners and I hope they continue it by slowly building romantic tension instead of them just randomly getting together by episode 5.
Just finished this drama and I loved it so much 😭🫶 someone compared it to Castle and I could see the resemblance. Usually I hate silver spoon male leads but this one’s different. I’m excited/nervous about a new season. This is probably one of the only kdramas I think that could do a great second season as long as they have a really good story for it, not just so we can see the leads get together.
Everyone was hyping this up, but it’s so grim, sad and lacklustre. I’m on ep 3 and it’s not what I thought…
I think everyone has their own interpretation here; for me, Death is a character that obviously doesn’t have to be fair, just, and whatnot. She likes tormenting Choi Ye Jae, but I think her point was to show him how much others were hurting after his loss. This is better seen I think in the webtoon only because you can see our ML really was a selfish loser who had a loving and supportive mother but he always avoided her. Even after running into his mom the first time, it takes him forever to realize and feel what she had felt when he took his own life. The ML was desperate for money because he’s always been desperate for money. He’s never been able to support himself or his mom and getting that large sum would’ve changed his life and look on life. To me, this show shows more on loved ones’ perspective of suicide, and as someone who has a sibling who had attempted multiple times, this hit home for me. They did a great job, in my opinion.
The drama is 10/10. after a long time a kdrama that's not gonna disappoint me. Few questions -1.This is just personal…
Tbh when I watched the opening of the 2-4th eps where they show the crime scene, I thought he was being punished because he fell on someone when he jumped and ended up murdering them in the process. But then I watched it again and maybe that scene was based on what happens at the end of ep 4? But that doesn’t seem correct because there’s a babydoll in the mist of the stuff… But I thought maybe he was being punished for the pain of those he left. He didn’t think about how they would feel after his death so maybe because his mom and girlfriend were in such pain, that’s why he was being punished - to make him see how selfish he was. Not sure though. Curious to see where they go with it.
