Have travelled but also not ignorant to world around me and history.
It's called Americano due to WW2 and American servicemen stationed in Italy. The GI's felt espresso was too strong & bitter so Italians watered it down and called it Caffe Americano.
It is fictional after all, however there are many women who succumbed to relationships due to the mysogny attitude passed down and there are many men have mental health issues based on love & relationships because they grew up in an unstable environment or just ignored as children are when bereavement or family dynamics change and fight/flight/fear becomes part of them.... Which creates lil warning signs or huge flying red flags...

Iced Espresso is with milk & crushed ice, espresso after smaller cup or double espresso shot for larger cup or Iced Lungo. Depending on where you are geographic or coffee store wise.

Rewatching as in last 3 years fell down the cheesy rabbit hole with some of the storylines that K dramas churning out. Especially taken from webtoons & idol actors. I know major western studios like Netflix are greenlight alot but many are K written stories from webtoons, add in the K pop factory, singers becoming actors..... is this what younger Koreans want? Fast paced, plot holes, unexplained side stories...
I've watched a lot of K dramas & Movies since 90s but this is all time classic fave ... So rewatch been 5 years since last rewatch...
I love this drama. Depending where you are in the world the amount he has won may seem a lot. But in expensive cities like Seoul it really comes down to the choices you have.. live like a king burn through it in 1-5years 🥳 but mental health consequences after be detrimental, you'd still have go out find a job.
The office dynamics made me laugh before winning and after... Fact is, getting a wage but have bank also, no longer grinding to survive. So attitude will change.
Personally if was me, I'd add up all my outgoings..see what difference is living in a decent hotel. How much interest rate give me extra on top wages... Then people at work think talk to you like crap because they know how badly you need the job..abuse their power. I'd enjoy giving it back. One day tell them how bad they all are... Walk out As I've bought decent lil house near nice town, pref by the sea and then... live comfortably for next 30yrs, work in a Samoyed cafe, be happy ... 🤣🤣

It's equivalent of £1mill so living in London you'd have to spend at least half of it to afford a decent area 1 bed flat. A house £750k + in a medium possibly area. So, have to be able to afford the upkeep & live. Now, if your renting and like where you are and working you'd have a pretty ok outlook plus your attitude would change on your work life outlook... Renting in London is expensive on own £50k a year in nice areas. So option is no longer working to survive... Do you go get a job something you like because you can comfortably do so... And be happy.. stay in the city or move away, tranquil less stress... Living comfortably for next 10-20 years or burn through it in 5... You get choices.... On type lifestyle you wanna live.

Because it is a friend's to lovers and should it of happened in the first place ... Who was madly in love with who, did Ho loose his true love before Mo?? Lot of unanswered questions
I love the way this story is unfolding and I love the FL she is flawed but she is honest and blunt about it, but she has tenacity and that is there relationship ... He is loving & loyal, but dig deeper..... He does have his micro controlling ways and his flip on blame.. but that is there dynamic until it became a 'No longer'... Due to the comment to her brothers of no flutter but obligatory... To feel comfortable saying this to her brothers even if he is a brother to, it was dishonourable to her... then when Ho dropped 'You make me look pathetic. Do you really want to break up with me?' made it from her need for space (due to his sense of obligation comment) as an attack on him. But we are looking at his beautiful face, tearing up, his loyalty and devotion. She hides her emotions because she now looking at him from a different prospective.... Regards to her autonomy.
We see how cunning he is in the work place with his play on words. Ho quietly subsumed by his sense of what the relationship "should" look like with Mo-di. He subtly uses same pattern. This may be why Mo-di is stuck in her own head with how her work is panning out, she needs no micromanaging or smothering.
He has already picked up on body language of the work colleague towards him and we know there is a past ... So was she with him before Mo?... Did he use Mo as his safety net?? Was he ever in butterflies love with Mo?
Who was Ho before Mo? And who is Mo going to become after Ho, especially with the Lawyer guy. . This is the journey as it also unravels the past and where does it take us...
Why I'm loving this ... Shows the intricacies of relationships....
I've Finished the chemistry of attraction to real love with trauma drama (The Early Spring) 😁 now it's friends to lovers dynamic... That cast very well. Love FL, we see the pain in her eyes and her heart breaking. Who was in love more, was Mo, Ho's safety net, was his heart broken before they got together at 26yo. Is Mo's actual true love not Ho?????
Those just watch dramas for the aesthetics of casting and not the depth of the story or acting, this might not be for you..
I'm enjoying this so far it makes you think of choices we'd make for those that come into money. However I do recall a similar trope a Japanese series in late 00s but was a comedy and those impulsive choices to thinking it through 🤣 OJ definitely an 8 so far but depends how it pans out and ending.

Maybe those pissed don't understand that the prefrontal cortex is the region of the brain responsible for complex decision-making, impulse control, and emotional regulation that continues to mature until approximately age 25. So, FL will struggle with long-term planning, risk assessment, and balancing emotional responses with logical reasoning in relationships. Where the ML his is just damaged due to Childhood emotional neglect (lack of caregiver affection, inconsistent or absent responsive care) can disrupt prefrontal cortex maturation. Lives a fight/flight/fear lifestyle when comes to having relationships. Add in verbal abusive behaviour towards him which very much from jealousy also, will create some kind of ugliness or full on monster. Maybe they are such a person... Won't accept they have faults. 🤷🏽♀️
