Yes! The lack of chemistry (except for that one big kiss, I suppose) was a big turn off for the drama. I was disappointed because I've been waiting for Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye to be in a drama, you know?

I know it will be good, I just need to find time to get around to it, you know?
He was supposed to be in City Conquest but it ended up getting dropped because of too many conflicts. I was really disappointed too, he looked really cool in the stills.

I don't think SHINee would ever leave SM. I just can't see it happening but you never know, right?
I would die if they were to split up though, it'd kill me. I don't how other TVXQ fans are able to handle their guys being in two separate groups but I like to pretend that they're all still the best of friends, yada yada
Of course, if SHINee ends up like SHINHWA, it would be great. SHINHWA's not afraid of anything anymore lol They are all completely and utterly unaffected by the world around them and are so comfortable together

but it was just a hobby. Even so, I noticed that I paid way more attention to my writing than I did with my fashion. And when I started thinking about it more and more, I've always been more passionate about my stories and creating these worlds, hoping that I'd someday be able to make them real. Screenwriting could make that happen and to be honest, my problem hid in the fact that I used fashion as a way out. I didn't want to put in the extra work and it was more of an art project for me than a job (Sorry ranting here :P)
Anyways, yes, I'm totally looking at dramas for info. I'd prefer drama/show screenwriting and I want to try Hollywood because some of my work just fits the American style of television (which makes sense since I'm influenced by it greatly) but I do still also want to include Korea in my future and screenwriting over there might help that.
Either way, my head's exploding

haha You remembered?!? Yep, it was me but I was kind of hoping you didn't remember lol Everyone's saying the same thing about how I had such big plans with fashion.
I was planning to get my own little shop and be a happy little hermit in Korea. But I mean, the market for designers isn't that open right now and it costs money to run a shop, even more so if you don't already have a source of income which leads to you needing a degree in something other than fashion, blah blah blah Technical stuff
I've been struggling with what I really want to do and I've always been into writing so it's been a constant battle between fashion and that.
I still love fashion but when I started thinking about what I wanted to do that I could actually make a future out of, the answer always kept pointing to screenwriting. I've actually been doing it for a couple of years with my stories just piling up

It's something that I really hate. Because they started her out strong, going to America alone, and then made her whiny when her sister ran off. Strong when dealing with Tan the first couple times, weak when dealing with Rachel Yoo the first time. Strong when dealing with Rachel Yoo later on, weeping when dealing with Young Do every time (early on). It's like a neverending tug-of-war with her, especially in the beginning episodes

but only for a minute or two. He definitely thought she had left, the whole despair scene and all

Not so much as confused, just lost. I had stopped like at episode 19 and left it alone for a couple of months. Tried to jump back in (which I will say I usually have no problem doing) and had no clue what was going on lol It all sounded familiar but I couldn't grasp what was happening. Tried to go back an episode or two but that just screwed things up even more

Even so, I don't think Eun Sang made a bad choice but it also wasn't the best one. If you think about it, she didn't do anything wrong. She didn't force Tan to act the way he did, to be all stalkerish towards her lol It was just a teenage romance that got a bit out of hand. So in reality, his dad couldn't have forced her to leave the country anyway... She didn't do anything illegal and it's not like he could carry her into a plane and ship her off. It was basically an empty threat that she took too seriously
If anything, she could have just ignored both of them and got on with her life... maybe end up with Young Do, have a couple of kids and leave Tan to do his business
(haha Sorry, ranting over here)
I don't think him ripping the ticket would have changed anything. The dad probably could've just gotten her a new one, etc etc. Plus I'm pretty sure he did go to the airport in one scene

It's nice to meet you too ~ !
Yeah, Kdramas were what I first got into and I kind of stuck with them. I got into Tdramas a lot too but most are on-hold right now. As for JDramas, I haven't explored much into that area. The only one I've seen is the 2013 Itazura na Kiss
I do listen to Japanese artists now and then: Utada, Ayumi Hamasaki, One Ok Rock, heidi, etc. A bunch more but those are my main ones.
I am a major Shawol so I'm hoping you are too...? ^^
Are you watching anything good right now... or listening to anything good?

I'm on a bit of a hiatus too. Haven't touched a drama other than Heirs but even with that, I'm taking it a bit slow. Too much work and plus, I'm kinda holding off on dramas until next year.
Aside from that, I've been watching a couple American series too. I've been crazy into Supernatural lately (which might be the reason I'm holding off on dramas lol). I just started it and I'm getting why people love it so much. I'm only on Season 3 though so I got 5 and a half more seasons to go until I'm caught up for it's return.
Anything you watching that I might know of?

To me, Park Shin Hye can pull it off to an extent but Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin (for the most part) just can't. They're past that stage and it doesn't quite fit. College would've been a lot better cause at least then, age doesn't matter as much. I think the secondary characters where a good fit though but that might be because Krystal and Park Hyung Sik just look younger

I actually tried watching the first episode of the Taiwanese version a while back and I don't know what happened lol It took me so long to find a good sub of it and by the time I got to it, I just never finished. I'm going to get back to it though, one of these days
I love Hyun Joong but yes, he's very expressionless. He seemed more like a (beautiful) ken doll to me than the serious and mean male lead he was supposed to be

I agree with that, Tan and Eun Sang have become a much better couple (well, as much as they can be), possibly because their secrets are out of the way? Only mostly though because the other students only know that Eun Sang is poor, not that Tan is an illegitimate child
I do think the writers could have done a much better job on the story. Like you said, it's nothing we've never seen before, just in a different (sort of) setting. I guess I just expected a bit more from the writer of Secret Garden and A Gentleman's Dignity though looking back on both of those, they were also kind of cliche (just not as bad)
I did see it, I just never finished it lol I want to though, it was one of the first dramas I ever started watching but at that time, I was so excited, I was trying to watch so many dramas at once and left that one a bit behind. By the time I got back to it, I was so confused lol

The new Japanese one is too cute but even so, I think all depends on the viewer themselves. Like, I though Playful Kiss was really cute and sort of well done even if it's certainly not the best. A lot of people complained about the female lead's annoyingness but in all honesty, for the people who've read the manga (though I can only speak for myself) and know how the female lead is, Jung So Min played her very well

I'm watching Heirs too but that's really the only drama at the moment that I'm completely caught up on. Not much time to watch dramas right now, too busy
