Normally, I’d skip a drama starring Alan Ren. Before anyone jumps on me for saying that—I’ve just been really annoyed with him ever since I watched "The Demon Hunter's Romance"(I don't know what didn't work for me here, but something just didn't click.). I’m also still a bit traumatized by "One and Only" (though I did watch "Forever and Ever"). I tried watching"Love and Crown", too, but gave up after a few episodes. It wasn't the actor's fault, though—it was more the script. Everyone raves about the plot, so I decided to give it a try; who knows, maybe I’ll like it. Besides, I want to watch *A Moment But Forever*.

I decided to continue, and I'm already on episode 12. The further it goes, the more mysterious it becomes, and the more I'm drawn into the plot. I'm not a huge fan of Ju Jing Yi, but this is the first drama with her in a while where her character doesn't annoy me.

If a drama isn't promoted as a romance, then the romance is just an addition to the plot for me. I'm afraid I'll get attached to the characters again, and by the end, only half of them will be left, if any are left. I don't mind sad endings as long as they make sense and the plot tells me it can end that way. That's why my favorite costume dramas don't always end with a happy ending, as long as the plot is good and without any major holes, I'm satisfied. "My Journey to You" requires me to be in the mood for the ending. I think a well-written plot, regardless of the ending, is worth watching, but I'd rather know if I need a box of tissues at hand.

I watched one episode and I'm afraid to continue, I'll wait for the end. This director terrifies me, that's why I haven't started watching "My Journey to You" yet. I'm traumatized by "Ice Fantasy" and "Fangs of Fortune".

These are older adaptations, so they have their own atmosphere and won't appeal to everyone. So it's quite understandable. If you ever check them out, the actress who played FL in Love O2O plays a character true to the book. A lot of people complained that she acted stiff in the kiss scene, but that's just how the main character is. I like to go back and rewatch both of these dramas sometimes.

I'm someone who doesn't like sad endings. But if a drama tells me from the beginning that the ending might be sad, I have no problem with it. My favorite dramas include Fangs of Fortune, Mystery Lotus Casebook, Till the End of the Moon, and this drama. I prefer happy endings, but not every drama demands them. The only things I don't like are sad endings for the sake of a sad ending and shock value, or changing the ending of a novel they adapt from happy to sad.

So far, I'm liking it. I should point out that I haven't read the novel; I'll do so after the drama finishes airing. This drama was released from a dungeon of a few years, and it shows. But personally, I don't feel it's "cheap," despite the low budget. It's something light to cleanse the palette between heavier dramas.

The funniest thing is that I expected it. Happy endings are a rarity in Chinese dramas these days. It's exhausting.

I'm on episode 34. I'll watch the rest tonight, but I checked the ending. And I'm not complaining because I expected it. If someone watched the drama carefully and understood Tang Lici's character, they could have expected it.

Hmmm. I must have missed this drama. I'll put it on my watchlist and see if I like it.

There really is an aura. If they manage to create an atmosphere like in The Double. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. As I mentioned, I like it when dramas prove me wrong. But first, I'll wait for the dramas to end. His dramas have had mixed endings lately. I prefer to know what to expect. I hope you enjoy watching this drama

I'm open to suggestions. As I mentioned, I like it when a drama proves me wrong. I watch a drama for the story and characters (Blood River, Whispers of Fate). If it's a romance, I have no problem with that. And I have no problem with a sad ending or an open one if the drama gives me signs that I can expect that kind of ending (Fands of Fortume, Mystery Lotus Case Book). So thank you for the suggestion.

You like him, kudos to you for that. I hope you like it and have fun watching this drama. You don't have to jump in with your claws. I don't like him in romance dramas. I don't have to like him, but I have the right to express my opinion. Besides, who said romance is about physicality? You said it, not me. You know, I like it when a drama proves me wrong. We'll see. Maybe he'll win me over in this drama. I'll see the review after it's finished.

I see Ren Jia Lun in the cast whit romance tag and I,m out. His dramas have olways crappy endings. And romance , what romance? He should play in crime dramas or ML centred dramas not in romance dramas.

I was waiting for the ending to start watching. And now I don't know whether to start watching or not. After reading that ML disappears for practically entire episodes, I somehow lost the desire to start watching immediately.
