It sounded like Da On's voice to me, but I could be wrong!
I was curious myself after reading this comment, so I just went back to listen, and I think it was definitely just Daon. I didn't hear anyone else call out "Woo" before Daon did, and the "Woo" that I did hear sounded very much like Daon's voice. (As much as I'd have loved for it to be Shinwoo, haha. Who knows, though, maybe this person has a sense of hearing far beyond mine!)
And, honestly, I think the fact that Daon was the one to call out his name to get his attention, whereas Shinwoo stood there silently with the flower in his hair, waiting for Taekyung to look to him organically, was pretty in line with both Daon's and Shinwoo's characters.
But man, this show really does turn you into a detective, though, doesn't it? The amount of hours I spent poring over the previews every week... I'm going to miss it so, so much when it's over. I've never had such a blast following a show before.
I just thought of a theoryIn the mv of the song Spark by A.C.E we see Da-on sleeping on the table while listening…
I actually think that's Shinwoo, personally. I recognize his hand, and plus, he's worn the occasional cardigan in the past, and it looks like his style more so than Taekyung's (or Namgoong's). He's also the type to be hesitant.
I have no further reasoning beyond this other than it just... feels like Shinwoo to me, lmao. I could be wrong, though!
You have quite possibly the best profile pic I have ever seen in my life. Also, I agree with every word. This…
Ah, thank you so much!! I love "walk, walk, fashion baby" Oh-aew to pieces. :') Unless you were talking about the picture in my bio, in which case—I love ITSAY to pieces, lmao. I like your profile pic too, btw. I used to be obsessed with EXO when I was younger. Also, we match hair colors! Sort of.
And yeah, this episode /sure does/ exist, huh? I kind of wish it didn't, though. In fact, I might start actively repressing the memory of it in order to be able to watch the next episode. Maybe everything except the puppy dog eyes.
I was OK with Sky's serenade being bad because he's not supposed to be a musician. But the musicians were so,…
I was thinking something similar about the 8-episodes thing, but I wish they would have saved such a grand, overtly romantic gesture for the midpoint of the show, at the very least. It would still have been a little too rushed, but I'd have been less "wtf" about it if they had at least one more episode of relationship development under their belts. It was almost laughable watching those flashbacks of their moments together, since they've barely had any that were substantial. Unless you consider toweling sweat off of someone compelling, I guess.
I agree with your point—if it had been less traditionally romantic, it'd probably have been a lot more believable. Not that there's anything grossly wrong with extravagant café dates—though they are very much not to my personal taste—just... not this early on, and not between two characters who, yeah, don't really seem like the types to participate in something like that. It's like they were trying to shoehorn them into this broad, generic idea of what romance is "supposed" to be, and they just didn't fit. Honestly, I can white-knuckle my way through almost anything, but poor relationship pacing is one thing that always ends up turning me off from couples.
I enjoyed the first two episodes for what they were: hella cheesy, chock-full of overused tropes, yet inexplicably entertaining. My initial opinion was essentially, “Eh. There's been much worse.” However, with episode 3, this has quickly turned into what is quite possibly the silliest, most melodramatic show I have ever seen, lmao. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to suspend my disbelief long enough to withstand the rest of the series.
Also, that horrible piano playing?! Was that purposeful, or...? And Jesus Christ, the serenade; I don't even know how that played out because I had to take off my headphones and look away for the entirety of the scene. The level of toothache-inducing fluff was just... too much, and way too soon.
I think I’d much rather have followed Bank and Pitch on their little “date” instead. At the very least, I am still of the opinion that Bank is adorable.
