I think you misunderstood it..there was a story told in ep 14 also if you observed it you might have understood what Won meant. Yoona already said that San choose Rin and saw him romantically and not won. She also said that San saw Won only as a person and friend. One have to observe each episode clearly to understand that. Also the end made it more obvious that she ended up with Rin...go and check out the article pls

let me make it clear.....San clearly ended up with Rin who is Hong jong hyun and not with won. The actress of the drama Yoona have already said that San choose Rin and it was pretty understandable and clear from the drama itself. So dont get confused ....once you see the drama and its ending you will clearly understand that.
Its worth a try!!! its a very interesting drama.

To some of you who still misunderstand that San liked Won romantically after seeing the whole episodes:
Yoona in an interview after the drama ended answered the questions related to the love triangle....She said that San loved Rin romantically and saw Won as a friend whom she loves...San actually started to Like Rin after she came to know that he was the one who saved her on the roof top and she was clear herself that she loved Rin romantically after a while....she said that its a happy ending for RinXSan shippers and it's a Sad ending for WonXSan shippers.....the actress who played San herself cleared that who she loves romantically....now no one should have doubts about who she loved romantically and who she did not..

Some people have already seen the final episodes....ITS RIN❤SAN but sad ending for Won as predicted from ep 14

Yes San says that she liked Won but it was in a platonic way because it didn't not even seem like a romantic confession from her side and Wons reaction seems like to be normal....however how much we think this is right it still seems the person whom she loves is a mystery ' hope this mystery will be solved in the final episode but who knows' Won thinks that she likes Rin and Rin thinks that she likes Won and San have shown rejection to both sides (showed more to Won though and deep in my heart from my observations I feel that she likes Rin as always felt))......anyway as episodes pass by I find their precious friendship is something that must not be broke...San will be still alive I guess and Won will accept Rin's request to leave the place and San will also leave with him or it can be that San dies and Rin leave the place

I understand you completely!!! I was not able to even think properly for few hours, I was completely blank and felt really emotional, here Iam trying somehow to calm me down.....

Hopefully the end won't be rushed.since there are 8 more episodes...I think they will portray the ending well even though it's going to be emotional.....yea he will stay with Dan ( after their marriage I think she will be still sad thinking about Won's love towards San but later on it will be solved)

I read the summary of the novel even though I know that they changed some parts and added there own twist and turns.....however I could find they tried to adapt the main story parts giving only some small changes.

I highly doubted that Rin will die but it does not seem to work anymore, it's kinda sure that he will not. Analyzing episode 14 and considering the current episodes and some parts such as won looking many years back and narrating a small part of the his story, next week episodes spoiler telling that Won will lock up Rin and will confine San in the palace etc considering clues this will be the most likely touching ending that would happen in the drama.

Won will send Rin away and then make San stay in the palace ( even though she will escape first time which will be showed in the next episodes) promising that Won will allow her to see Rin and others(biyeon) if she is patient...all these years San will search for Rin secretly but will not find him...San will try to leave the palace several times......by the end won allows and San to leave the palace and meet Rin at the same time won shows up ....they reconcile. Won then allow San and Rin to leave together..in the novel there is an incident that happened after 30 years which is soo heart touching( Won will meet San and Rins son. Rin and San send their son to give a gift to Won and the gift is something that Won gave to San when they were young-a painting of San, Rin and Won) but I highly doubt whether they I'll show it here....it was sure from episode 14 that won will not have a happy ending with San..but many of them forgot about it I guess....

People the sentence from episode 14 where Won was retelling the past makes it clear that WHO SAN WILL NOT END UP WITH" there is a chasm between me and my love that neither of them can't cross" chasm means a DEEP SCAR so putting it to the sentence it reads as THERE IS A DEEP SCAR BETWEEN ME ( WON) AND MY LOVE( SAN) THAT BOTH OF THEM CAN'T CROSS ( meaning not allowing them to be together) DEABAK!!!!! This means that she will not end up with Won...wow!! The answer was there from episode 14 but the drama team tricked and confused us successfully! that sentence was the most important hint that many of us did not care and think about properly

In ep 14 there is a beautiful scene where the crown prince narrates tiny bit of the past. While he is narrating there is an important sentence "between me and my love there is a chasm(implying to Rin) that neither of them can cross.....from this (and the vlive )it's pretty sure that there is and will be something between San and Rin that is not allowing won and san to be together completely..... however from the poster it seems like the endgame of san will be with the crown prince somehow....anyway jonghyun and yoona says that there will be big twist till the end and each episodes will get interesting that it will hold you on your toes and it will be unpredictable as well( so the guesses that we and the audience make may not be completely right) and lastly they mentioned the ending will be emotional that it would linger in your mind....should wait and see the suspense
