Yeah I don't think they wrapped up the storyline for the guardian and why she let Oh Young go blind very well. Oh Soo was a con artist yet he always knew his faults which other villians never can admit to themselves. I like he at least planned to take the guardian down with him if and when he was caught in order to keep her from controlling Oh Young anymore. I wondered why Oh Young didn't know sooner about Oh Soo. I always felt she kind of knew about Oh Soo and went along with his lie like she did with guardian because she came to like him.
Wow. This movie was well done especially Jo In Sung's acting. I felt sorry for Hong Rim from the beginning. I…
Yea he is definitely melt worthy. I know what I understood and what was meant is different but i like my meaning of the movie. lol. I like Jo In Sung's movie "Love of South and North to. What did you think of that song that king sang being played at the end. I think that is where idea of movie came from.

Oh Soo is awesome. I rooted for him from the beginning.. He wasn't necessarily a villain...he just did things that were wrong to try to survive even though he didn't know why he wanted to keep living. I hated that guardian lady. Never understood her actions.

Thank you I would have added more of a comment on the end but I ran out of room. : ) I agree Jo In Sung is awesome. I think his body language told more then the few lines he had. Maybe he looks at king at the end because after so long having his life be controlled by the king he wanted to make sure he was dead before he died. The ending scene where they hunt on horses together I think was the kings idea of heaven as he was finally at peace after going crazy over Hong Lim. Hong Lims heaven could be that his love was safe along with his child and he could be free of worry for them while he stayed with the king. As for the title I wonder if it refers to the fact Hong Lim was frozen in this life going through the motions and couldn't blossom into the man he could have been until he fell in love with the queen.... I read too much into things. LOL
I thinking almost everyone is shipping Chung Jo and Kangchi right now. Though I'm equally loving seeing Gon and…
Suzy does kind of play a not very important character right now but hopefully things will change when Choi Kang Chi recognizes her as a girl and the one he knew long ago. Perhaps he will develop some chemistry with her as right now he is too consumed with feelings for Chung Jo to notice anyone else even if she des keep hitting him over the head. The kids playing the same main roles gave them a promising background they just need to build on as adults.
I loved the scene of the conversation the brothers had on the phone, and the way Sun Woo expressed himself. Somehow…
I totally agree. Those are definitely some of the best scenes with Sun Woo and great cliffhangers. I like how Sun Woo introduces himself to his teenage self on the phone. They use text messages a lot in this drama too.

I am in the US so I watch Gu Family Book either from Dramafever, Hulu, or Viki.com. Only problem with different sites is the way they all sub it differently. : )
Wow. This movie was well done especially Jo In Sung's acting. I felt sorry for Hong Rim from the beginning. I thought it was creepy how the king paid so much attention to a little kid at the start. It makes me wonder if Hong Rim was lead to be the kings lover as he grew under the care of this almost father/ brother/mentor figure from a young age. How could he say no. That type of relationship could cause him to want to please the king ANY way he could. The fact the soldiers weren't allowed normal relationships made finding the truth of his sexuality harder. Poor guy was so confused .you can see it when he clings to the sleeping king (to me he almost looks like a child looking for comfort) .Sex was often here but the thing I paid attention to was how Hong Lim acted differently each time. At the end I wonder if he looked at the king because his world had revolved around him for so long..
I'm Afraid ... afraid because there are 24 épisodes, and with the first and second episode... that will be difficult…
I think it will turn out awesome in the end. I've liked all the dramas Lee Seung Gi has been in so far. Kang Chi is being developed into a multidimensional character so i agree it should soon get better then first two episodes.. As for Seo Hwa I don't get how she could betray Wol Ryung when everything started because her father was betrayed. Her actions are strange but maybe it was pregnancy hormones making her think and do crazy things.
Oh I absolutely loved this episode and even I am not sure whether suzy will fit the role. btw I didn't understand…
Sorry that was my comment. I meant I was surprised that Lord Park ran in to grab the baby (Chief Jo Gwan Woong is man that betrayed Seo Hwa's father and destroyed her family). I wrote wrong name for some reason when I wrote comment. I would have thought Park would send his servant to go grab the basket and not jump in himself.
Nice to meet you.
