the YOUKU tv app for some reason shows it is 40 episodes but the viewing schedule says 33. maybe 40 includes extras.

I think I saw it was exclusive to IQIYI in the trailer. I’m more worried that if it’s not up for reservations in the international IQIYI app it means it won’t get subbed and episodes will just be released. I don’t mind it airing a couple days later if we get real subtitles. Hopefully it’s added soon.

Yeah I was getting a headache trying to figure out some of the IQIYI subtitles in episode 5. I would rather get slower release of episodes on Wetv/tencent if it means more accurate subtitles.

nice that it is on IQiYi and Tencent. IQIYI has more episodes released for VIP but the AI subs aren’t that great after a couple of episodes. Tencent is 2 days behind on episodes but it has some better English subs

I only vaguely remember her referring to him as her friend at start of story. And that she likes him. For sure they both cared for each other. But the scenes in drama were different then interaction in novel. Like the part where she gets mad at him and was going to unfriend him. He says don’t he can’t stand not being couple for like 5 seconds but In novel she cried to her brother that dai duo won’t accept her friend request after she deleted him. Can’t remember them ever telling anyone they are boyfriend / girlfriend. More like in a “some” kind of relationship. Could just be how I read translation.

It’s just kind of long. The main story is over 130 chapters. Then you have extra chapters after the epilogue followed by Shan Shan extra chapters.

Honestly the web novel didn’t have any really big problems for them to face once they became a couple. They grew in their fields together. He was training for the team and she was drawing . Only issue in her career was hiding from Shan Chong the fact the comics she originally drew were R-rated. The change I like in drama is Shan Shan actually dating Dai Duo already.

this drama version frustrates me since they had a much healthier relationship in novel. no breakup and she was literally on the slopes on the sidelines as he trained. plus they were much more affectionate in web novel.

yeah never happened in novel. the way he met her parents was different also. a lot of unnecessary issues were added while the second couple scenes were cut out.

Shan Shan had a crush on Dai Duo for years. I’ve only seen the first episode. Despite the drama adding issues with her career that never happened it was still good.

If it follows the web novel they should be the second couple. And a third couple was also kind of mentioned in the original story as well which involved his sister Shan Shan. some things have changed already though.

it didn’t drag long. thankfully figured it out almost 10 minutes before end of episode 9. think she was more upset because she didn’t know how to react and friend didn’t help by giving her bad advice.

You can see from her past relationship she has trouble talking over things . Hopefully this misunderstanding brings them to admit feelings for each other and not her running away in embarrassment.

I agree it would be nice if people clearly asked about something instead of just believing what they see as the truth. I can understand her not asking immediately though as it really isn’t her business if it has to do with his private family matters. plus they are still in the awkward relationship change of going from patient/doctor to friends. if she is telling her friends they should have given her advice to ask him about what she saw instead of immediately making up a whole story with her.

Ep 8 was fine. A Misunderstanding only occurs in last 45 seconds of episode. Although it really shouldn’t be something for her to be so upset about even if it was true since they aren’t even dating yet and she knows he is currently single.

the ep 9 preview shows her friend straight out mentioning having a son to He Su Ye so looks like it should be resolved fast once he hears about misunderstanding.

It was re-released with original voice of main actor. They had dubbed him when it first came out. Original version is with his real voice.
