Can I say this is exactly the show I didn’t know I needed? The acting, directing and fight scenes are all well crafted. So shocked it only has 8.1 ratings, should at least be 8.7 like what is there not to like with this series. I binged last night and was so sad could not watch past ep 3 cause what daddy was about to put the paws on them and I was ready for it.

Love Sick is iconic and I remember when I stumbled upon it in 2020 or 2021. I loved how Captain portrayed Noh and felt all his emotions in coming to terms with his attraction and love for Pun. At each part of the OG show there are scenes that just hit me every time for instance the car wash and then the fall and how Pun looks at Noh and Noh looked at Pun…OMG! I still get all the feels watching it. Needless to say when the 2024 version acted the same scene it was changed but was it bad 🤷‍♀️ was it at least executed nicely 🤷‍♀️ was it just me knowing one of my favorite scenes was about to happen at I got soooo excited possibly. I say this to point out I cannot hold this version on the same level as the OG I have take off my rose colored glasses and enter a no judgement zone and see where the 2024 takes me. Like in the 2024 version of ep 1 Pun grabs Noh and hugs him then as Noh settles Pun opens his eyes and smiles. I loved that part as it wasn’t in the original they took this scene and tweaked it from Noh looking but Pun and I wasn’t mad at it.

First can I say how SKH’s glass skin is glassing. Like I need his whole skin care routine. Secondly, Koo Han Su should not even be handling this case as he has a relationship with the person who reported (conflict of interest) plus we know how easily he believes someone he knows like he just had two other cases and yet he still acts as if his judgement is soundproof. I am so tired of his living in a bubble mentality like the world is perfect and there are no bad people. Like why is he on the audit team 🤷‍♀️ now he is going to lie to get Sin Cha ll to open another case just to get his way. I love this show but his character irks me and makes me not what to continue but SKH is sooooooo good.

I absolutely love political thrillers when acted and directed right and Uncle Samsik it checking all my boxes. However, one of my pet peeves with some K- dramas is that they throw in a random FL that truly serves no purpose and Yeo Yin is one of those. Tiffany’s character I get and she played her role for what it’s worth but for Yeo Yin how is she so smart and perceptive after her father died but didn’t see shit when he was alive…make it make since. In chaos you happened to see a random person who just throw papers in the air and then 4 months later you are able to say oh that person is not who they say they are …make it make sense. I thought she was a reporter but hasn’t investigated nothing…she working off flashbacks and calling it journalism?

Just amazing! South Korea has been producing the best BL recently after Japan. This is now in my top 10 of BLs. I love transmigrating BL novels and to finally see one done right, hopefully we get more but this has definitely set the bar.

I do agree with the comments on the actor portraying Tang Fan. He was nothing like this in the novel and it does his character an injustice. I do like the intriguing parts of the show and right now Wang Zhi is my favorite character but I liked him in the novel as well. I always felt he had a crush on Tang Fan….LOL! I don’t feel the chemistry of the two main leads which is weird even for a BL turned bromance. In WOH they sold me on the bromance because I could see between the lines but this adaptation not so much.

How is the ratings 8.5….this is a certified 10. What a way to close out 2023. Just wish it made it in time to be nominated for award season. Because I can see it getting the acclaims Squid Game did in the U.S. like I laughed, was on the edge of my seat, and cried like a baby at 2am.

I know this is not BL! But when Dongsoo received bags full of expensive clothes and Doyoung called like bae did you get my presents…I was jealous and then when Donyoung saved his bae I was like if that ain’t a ML move I don’t know what is….LOL! Jokes aside loved ep 7 this show just keeps getting better. I find myself rooting for the anti- hero which we are not supposed to do…we are supposed to hold him accountable for his actions but those who do in this show I can’t stand from the neighbor detective to the brother….I want Dongsoo and Dongyoung to win and be on top of whatever empire they want. Can’t wait to see how it all ends.

This is the Korean version of Breaking Bad and Ozark. ML who appears to be meek and skiddish an upright citizen but let one sexy deranged gangster come into his life and his true self comes out. I have enjoyed both episodes and of course no one could do the role justice other than SHK.

Mon is not complex at all….Mon has basically been given the handbook to LS and she still doesn’t use it to help navigate her interactions with her. I understand the joys of new relationships are discovering the other person by interacting and actually learning. Mon came into her relationship with LS as infatuated, she only knew what she learned of her by her presence online. So when she was able to meet her idol in real life LS failed meeting her expectations, she literally placed her on a pedestal and as she began her interactions with LS, LS always fail short due to Mons preconceived ideal of her. Who can live up to that. LS friends took Mon under their wing to help guide because as the good friends they are they know their friend and have learned to navigate their interactions with her and so used this to give Mon a insiders tip into LS. Mon never used their guidance she still used her preconceived interpretations of LS to interact and of course when that happens she always felt hurt. Is LS perfect no, it is her imperfections that make her such a complex character she is aware of her imperfections she doesn’t walk around with rosé colored glasses about herself, where as Mon is like the true concept of rose colored glasses. I get being new to relationships and discovering you are attracted romantically to the same sex can be in its self hard but Mon only frustrate me because she stay hurt and the hurt is always this one sided idolization she has with LS instead of trying to tear it away and allow herself to know as she is and woman who was raised with high expectations place on hers,ef and her sister, who was told she had to marry not for love or who she chooses but her grandmother, she has no freedom to be herself. I can go on but I’m getting tired of writing…LOL I understand all points but to me Mon is selfish.

Here are my thoughts that literally no one asked for! Mon is one of the most irritating characters. I find myself asking Lady Sam I know she (Mon) pretty but hun is dingy AF, what can you possibly see in her. What I didn’t know I wanted but got a glimpse into this ep is a Tee/Yuki storyline. Hopefully we can step back from LS & Mon and she these two ladies fall in love.

It’s the hair for me. I can’t stand the blonde wig, throughout the whole episode it was all I could focus on.

Love love love everything about this series but the romance is so not needed. It’s almost like an after thought and brings nothing to the show. Besides that I have no other complaints. Everyone is a master class in acting.

Really enjoying Gap! It’s like the episodes just keep getting better. My only issue are those candles Sam has lit that she never puts out. LOL! I love me some candles too but damn! I can’t fall asleep without checking at least three times if I’ve put them out and Sam just be sleeping all peaceful with them still lit 🤣

This right here…Hunty! This is THE best series of 2022….like WTF! I just binged the whole season. Like I know it wasn’t BL but dammit the way Shu Eun looked at Ahn Soo Ho I was swooning! The whole damn cast acted they butts off. Can’t wait to season 2

I think the mom knew even before marrying Siam he had feelings for In. I believe she thought a relationship with her & then having a child would somehow stop Siam’s feelings but it didn’t she didn’t get her happy ending. The awards show is a representation of who she truly is a narcissist. Although she won but there was no one there to celebrate it with her son would rather stay with In then attend a huge night with his mom. It’s very telling.
