When Soo Ho was young he needed help to save his sister who very unwell and on the verge of death. Soo Ho stopped the car of his his adopted father to see if he can help. His adopted father first refused, but then accepted when Soo Ho said he will do anything for him, even die if he ask him to.
So technically Soo Ho's adoptive father is still on that same agreement that Soo Ho made with him as a kid. But I don't think he was fully aware of what he was saying.
So it sounds like Soo Ho's adoptive father did take care of him and trained him to be a spy. But when it is time now to give his life, he cannot do so.
His adoptive father realises that Soo Ho is truly the son of a revolutionary because he and his sister were made orphans because their hometown was bombed.
Hence why the deputy asked to keep a close eye on Soo Ho because they knew his ideology are not really the same as the party.
Is it just me but the wives seems to just be fillers... I am not into the whole story line that they have been given... it actually makes me angry more than anything...
Although I do like Baek Ji Won as an actress. She is very good in my opinion.
JHI is working on other projects. But What I am gonna miss about him is his character Soo Ho.
The intensity of his character is Soo Ho is amazing. Ain't gonna lie I want to see him play the antagonist in one of future projects. Or maybe a gangster type. His intensity if played right can be very good. Just thinking of Ok Taec Yeon in Vincenzo. How he played Jun Woo was excellence in my personal opinion. JHI doing something along those line could be a good win also.

I agree. But I think it was a compilation on Yumi's end. But I think the tipping point was potentially Sae Yi. The convo she overheard at the wedding on Wung's friend potentially made her realised she was never first. And she will have to fight extremely hard to make relationship work long term?? but this did not seem as such on Wung's end. From Wung perspective, he decided to make effort when he sensed a potential breakup.
Anyone else has become very familiar with Yumi's apartment as they watched this show? 😅 Somehow found myself grasping the set much better in this drama.
Thankfully, I did take a look at the webtoon, if I did not and just followed the drama as each episode was released, it could have been a rollercoaster emotionally.
Overall really good drama, very realistic and relatable. I love the OST as well.
