I dont think we have seen what he is fully capable of yet. I think he is more brute force kinda villain. But cant be a villain on the legal aspect that is why he has the lawyers to help him.
He cant go and kill off everyone especially if he wants to build the Babel tower...
I love Taec Yeon and I think he has really grown as an actor, but I think this role is just too meaty for him?…
But could Kwak Dong Yeon (KDY) pass as an innocent intern though?
I have to say they did make KDY quite interesting. Older than his age. Very pale make up. Thickest ties I have ever seen when he is wearing a suit. And they make him wear mostly grey and black together... and small hint of gold.
Tried to figure out how i can seat for 1h plus watching a show that is getting darker and darker and be ok with it... And I got it... after every intense scene, (so far) they have followed with a very funny or comic scene.. they are like buffer throughout the show and can get people keep on watching... quite smart I must say..
I don't know why it's rating is low. I mean the drama is so good. It's deserve 8.0+ rating. My favourite character…

I personally did not get hooked on the first few episodes.
However, I did find the latter episodes much more enjoyable to watch. So I think 7.9 is a good representative of how the show is improving a bit so far.
They managed to blend dark side and comedy quite well. It's not overdone. I dont know how to explain it... but this drama could have gone so left, like too serious or slap-stick comedy....
Is just me, but I would have Babel's prosecutor (CMH) and JHS as main roles also not support role? Their contribution to the story line is weighty still... no?
