I think the only reproach possible for the writer is implying reincarnation can be backward (in the past) as well as in the same timeline as well as foward (future), also that both parties can somehow have knowledge of one another, as well as retain the memories...

DJ was killed by his uncle JYK, days before DJ was going to be inaugurated the CEO of SY company. HW was set up as a bait to kill DJ.
So HW and DJ timeline do overlap as two different people in bodiess of same appearance.
So DJ did have the knowldge of HW. But HW somehow forced himself to forget his implication in the death of DJ when he started working at SY as a driver. It was only when the incident that he recalled that he was the only one to blame for his own death, as he his both DJ and HW.
Also, YHW proved that those who were in line of inheritance of a comapny may not always necessarily be fit to have management rights. And we see in the last scenes working towards that for the Daeyoung group.

I did not predict any of this at all...
I am not sure how it depicts some of the gangs, violence and drugs in some Korean schools...
But I can say distribution of drugs using secondary school students as they will have lesser sentence do also happen in the west...
Betrayal, loss of friendships due to gangs bullying etc they do happen...
