Wow wow this drama is absolute stellar! As woman, I found the strength of the main character, the Queen, so inspiring. So beautiful. Definitely one of my top favourite Korean Drama.

If we are going to judge poeple based on skills let's do that and stick. Let's not mix it with character storyline or beauty preferences.
I do hope SHB character gets better overtime. Because in the future we see her completely different, quite emotionless almost robot type from the prosecution. So I am interested to know how she ended up like that.

Quite a harsh comment on (SHB) Shin Hye Bin's looks. Knowing how tough it is for women in general to meet high expectations not only in looks and skills, but when someone like (SHB) lands a role she is noted as not worthy because of her looks compared to Song Joong Ki, that can seriously sting for sure.
I wonder if people would say the same thing if the ML was not as good-looking as the FL? And the ML was annoying also.
I get that her character could be poorly written, or that the values she portrays are poorly written and how that can frustrate people. To be honest, that is so typical of many Korean dramas, but there is like no mercy for FL. That is so harsh.
In terms of acting Song Joong Ki, i found he mostly plays the same type of character - the smart or clever one, two steps ahead. I personally think in terms of acting, in the tv shows where SJK has played, the ones that really hold the show together are mostly the support characters and antagonist characters which allows SJK's character to shine.
In Vincenzo, I thought Ok Taec Yeon's acting was absolutely superb. Kwak Dong Yeon also.
In this drama, Reborn Rich, the grandpa character portrayed by Lee Sung Min, makes the show. He commands the attention of the viewer. So LSM acting is high up there.

Really good analysis of the queen. I felt like she is winning people overtime slowly. Everyone that queen dowager screws over or uses as pawn the queen collects them...
I am somehow pro the relationship between ML and FL. I thought the writer may have been comservative to depict a relationship out of coach and the athlete. But the show showed both side - abusive and supportive. The tv show ended on hope and a new adventure.
Would be interesting to portray how they navigate teacher/student relationship to bf/gf or partners or the like.
I can't believe they are really going to destroy this drama with this unnecessary romance :/
I think it does showcase potential feelings that can happen between a coach and a student if they spend a lot of time together. I am keen to see how the show will handle that. In reality a hard distance and almost not contact or change of coach is needed to recalibrate the feelings.

Most Korean drama on disney i find out when I looked into he "suggested similar" tab after watching another korean drama.
I thought the writer may have been comservative to depict a relationship out of coach and the athlete.
