I am sorry but this is one the worst Kdramas I have ever seen so far (ep. 12). The plot/writing. So unimaginative, so full of stupid cliches, cheap.And sorry there isn't a single great character in it for me till now. The writing is so awful. The main male leads face is (90% of the time) so unmoving as if a cosmetic surgery had gone wrong and left his face muscles half unresponsive (but at least he is nice to look at). But that is probably the character writing (his character is generally pretty unresponsive because they seemingly forgot to give him enough lines). I watch almost everything with thriller and romance genres in it I can find. I picked this because of my current list it has the best ratings - ironic. This probably will make my list of most overrated of all time at number one (next to Eternal Love and Strong Woman Do Bong Soon though with a big gap since I have a lot more nice things to say about those two). But I will continue in the hope to see what is so popular about it (if I am not correct in my fear that it`s only so high rated because almost no one critical endured it to the end). Sorry for ranting.
He was great in Save Me! Good in Mad Dog and terrible in The Great Seducer. When it comes to comedy/romance his acting feels so fake that I thought it was on purpose. His smile (to be precise) looks so fake, which was not a problem in Save Me and in the beginning of The Great Seducer because it was supposed to BE fake... but then it stayed that way (looked exactly the same) no matter the development. :-/ Did that change in 2019?

Me too! There are few chinese dramas with a really positive ending (like Fu Yao). I mean that one guy turning into a butterfly wasn't that satisfying... :-))
