Could you tell me if the ending is really a sad one? I think I only want to watch it if it somehow has a happy ending... Or a a better one than UF at least. When she was smiling at the picture in the end I just wanted to throw something. Just too much "bitter sweet". That was almost worse than Cruel City.

Thanks though the heart of my question would be: has it more action (in whatever form) then TMOPB?
Though I think I already know this drama is not for me. I don`t like slow pace And I don`t like female main characters like that (they frustrate, annoy). Which is why I didn't like TMOPB and Journey of Flower much and prefer Legend of Fu Yao and Princess Agents.

Hm extremes like that normally annoy/frustrate me.

Thank you so much! This makes me feel better. In my review I wrote I would recommend this even if it doesn't get a second season because I just refuse to BELIEVE the ending. Chang An IS alive in my head!

Thank you for the answer. Yes you are probably right. I was already really bored with TMOPB slow pace but at least id had some (my minimum of) action. And I ONLY like strong smart female leads (that I admire or at least WANT to relate to). And are fast annoyed with naive characters. But the fantasy look of this one had me hoping. But oh well thanks for saving me some frustration.
