I've been watching dramas and movies all my life. It's a hobby that i cherish with all my heart. And i can say that this series is my favorite kdrama of all times. It is perfect in every way (minus some OSTs that are a miss). Also I know that not everybody will get it, maybe this is why the score is not high enough. It has a maturity and a depth that, for you to get it, you need to have a certain age or life experience, that will make you relate to every single character in this drama. Because at the end of the day, every single one of them was painted in different shades of gray, not painted in black or white.
I'll cherish this for a very long time, and i'm sure i'll feel nostalgic thinking about it from time to time.
Truly a masterpiece!

I constantly get the feeling that they only spent money on the actors and the CGI, but not on the story, which is full of nonsense. It's like trying to recreate a foreigner SF series but it lacks everything good.

With every episode, i find myself lost for words for this masterpiece. I think i cried every single episode, not only because it was sad, but because of all the other emotions that this drama manages to bring inside of me. It's a lot, but at the same time i don't want it to end, like ever.
Now i'll spend 3-4 business days thinking about the last episode

Really really good drama. It is the kind of series in which you can feel every complex emotion. I also love how the characters are not painted in white and black, but how every one of them is grey

I'm only a few episodes in, but to me, this series has the best soundtracks that I've seen. Every scene is so much more incredible because of it.
Also all I can say as of now, this is for sure a feast of pretty and handsome faces.
I really really love Wu Yi and Ji Ling's arc and their acting. It's the best!

Was having high hopes for this one. The plot could've been so good and interesting.
But it was not good. The only good thing about this was the FL's acting, which was really good, but everything else was trash (ML's acting too sadly).
Stopped at 12 episodes, and sadly i don't even remember what i watched, mostly.

Just finished this masterpiece today.
I'm lost for words literally. How can this be so good?! The whole story, the acting, the comedy, the drama, the ML whole arc, this is just so good. How can i watch anything else after this?
Also i have so many questions! What does the final mean?? What will happen next??
Can't wait for season 2. I hope they will do it faster cuz i can't really wait.

Started this yesterday, but i find the FL so annoying, and her acting is not it...
Like why did they made her do so many unnecessary things? She was supposed to be a general but she acts like a little kid with no boundaries.
Idk if i'll continue this, but now i get why it did so bad in China.
