Same here, I will support him regardless of what script he chooses. I usually watch romantic/modern dramas but can watch and rewatch any type of drama as long as there is CZY in it 😄 The reason is Yuan often has a good choice of script and roles so I believe in him.

Wow, this is great. I don't know Chinese so can you please tell me what do the two columns indicate? For example, for Hidden Love, what do 3,602 and 4,233 refer to? Both numbers for Our Secrets seem to be low but it ranks higher than other dramas?

This is excellently said. People always said he didn't suit the role, he should not be chosen but then were amazed by his transformation and perfect portrayal of every role. He lives in his character, brings them to life each with completely different vibe. He works hard and put so much effort in each of his roles. That's why I love Chen Zheyuan.

The ending is open to interpretation. For many people including me, it is a happy ending and true to the original novel. The main couple did have a long time living together before they die.

Maybe, maybe not. CZY has been known as a BG actor in the first place so a BL drama may not change that, it may help to expand his popularity to those who like BL dramas. Anyway, this is just an unreliable melon.

I finished watching the drama 10 days ago but still couldn't move on from it. TWOT did touch me with long lasting emotions and mostly because of the excellent acting of the two leads. I saw thousands of comments on iQiyi facebook and multiple fanpages for the drama sharing similar thoughts and emotions that make it even harder for me to move on haha. Still rewatching several episodes with sweet scenes of the main couple.

Chen Zheyuan can covey multiple deep emotions in the drama. I've cried not because of the ending but because of his emotional acting in many scenes. I've read thousands of comments on Facebook praising his acting skills in TWOT too.

Chen Zheyuan's acting is incredible, especially in the last two episodes. He portrayed Li Zan perfectly and can convey from subtle emotions to agony feeling excellently. The White Olive Tree is definitely a must watch.

I stayed up until 2am to watch the last episode. It was indeed a masterpiece. We all know it has a sad ending from the novel but I love the way they made it, not too painful, I can still feel peace, love and hope in the ending. I see A Zan and Ran have several years living happy together because the olive tree they planted has became a big tree when they came back (it would take at least 10 years for an olive tree to grow that big). The acting of the two leads are excellent in the last two episodes, especially Chen Zheyuan.
