He annoys me too, but I think it's more he was little when they kicked the dad out and he was sheltered by his…
Have you watch episode 2? The father was always failed in business and made the family having trouble financially, the last straw was explained in ep 2, when the mother finally get to gather money from many sources, to open a snack bar to provide for the family. And it was going well until some loan shark destroyed the resto bc the father borrowed money from them. It was very heartbreaking to see all the hardwork from the mother and daughter just went to dust bc the father's thoughtless acts.
So far, more than the father, I really dislike the useless little brother more. So fast to side with the father just bc he's rich. The brother has no loyalty to his sister that literally worked herself to the point of passing out to feed him. The mother is right when she said the sister should stop coddling him. Let him work his ass off too, maybe he'll grow up and stop being a leech.
If you look closely, the date on Joo Hyun's computer when she read the email about Kwon Seok Joo's whereabouts on the last episode is July 11, 2024, and then she's planning to go to Japan to find him. So, she's probably in Japan around this time... Will she able to find Kwon Seok Joo? And, if she found him, what will she do? Arrest him or asking for cooperation to catch the fake killing vote? So many questions...if only we get season 2...
More than the injury, his family treatment is what really destroyed Lee Goon. I can understand why they have to leave him with grandma bc financial issue but to continue to treat him lower than the dog for years is really f*ck up. Especially the mom. I just wanna slap some sense into her.
Rolling my eyes sooo hard when she said let's break up
Jiwoong looks so pitiful, standing in front of her house waiting for her only for her to treat him like that. Like he literally just found his mom after searching for 20 years, and she didn't even ask him how he's doing? Is he okay? Girl come on I wanna hug him so bad. He deserves better...
The premise and the first episode is interesting enough but someone needs to tell romance kdrama writers that IT'S OKAY if the leads meet for the first time when they're adult, they DONT HAVE to be connected in the childhood to make the story good. After My Sweet Mobster, Miss Night & Day, and now this... I understand that Korean loves that fate or destiny stuff but it gets old pretty fast...
Why some people here want Wansoo get back to her cheating husband just bc a few lines of his sob story?? He literary had a child with another woman (which he conveniently ignore), slept with multiple women (so many that Taera already get used to his behavior), not to forget he tried to attack Wansoo (I don't want to think what could happen if Doyoon wasn't there to help Wansoo). Imo, death is too easy for him. They should've get divorced and he spend the rest of his life in regrets, seeing Wansoo happy with the man who can treat her right. Well, at least he's out of the way of Wansoo's happiness now. Good riddance.
The thing is, they made Lee Jungha's character too similar to his character in Moving. It's cute to see such innocence and naivete in a high school boy. In an adult? not so much, especially in a professional setting. Even I can't see Hansoo as an adult, I feel weird whenever I see him drinking alcohol bc in my mind he's still a minor 😅 Also, that's also why I can't see romance between him and Seojin, bc he needs to grow as a person first before starting relationship, otherwise Seojin will just be babysitting him. I hope we'll see his growth in coming episodes.
Anyways, our VP looking hot like always, maybe he'll get more screen time bc the next conflict involving his personal life.
Mijin is sooo annoying for not telling Jiwoong her secret. We can see his frustration but still trying to be understanding. Jiwoong deserves better. Like I don't even feel anything when Mijin crying while writing her resignation with all the flashback when she got the job and all. Girl, it's all your own doing for keeping the secret from the people you should've trusted the most. Also very stupid to go to the serial killer without telling anybody, but Gayeong? Like what was she thinking, dragging her best friend to confront serial killer and getting them killed?? I'm glad Gayeong didn't pick up the phone, or she would be dead. Should've told Jiwoong and together they can make a better plan to save dad. It all boils down to Mijin doesn't trust Jiwoong at all. Really suck the writer turn a smart FL into a stupid one just for unnecessary conflicts.
The cheating husband got his sob story is cool and all, but I really really hope they don't make Wansoo get back together with him. She better end up with Doyoon or stay happily single with her 18 trillion won.
I really like his voice

And we still didn't have the second season 🥲
