The drama should've kill Assemblywoman Min, I'm tired of her. Her husband abandoned her, also others who back her, but she still get away with everything, even still have resources to start her own killing vote. And she planned to screw KSJ's friend the same way she did with KSJ. They gave her too much power. Boring. I mean if they really aim for S2, at least come up with a new villain.
Open ending with a hint that KSJ survived, Joo Hyun tracked him to Japan, KMC got wilder, Assembly Min wanted to revive Killing Vote for her own gain with a mysterious hacker... And we won't get a second season because sbs sucks.
Funny thing is, now we're down to the last episode, I feel reluctant to let this drama go 😅 got too attached with the characters, especially Kwon Seok Joo. Too bad, considering the ratings and the broadcasting fiasco, it's very unlikely that we get season 2...
But wait, we didn't know who Gaetal #6 and #7... do they actually exist or there's only 5 inner circle Gaetal? (As in they haven't had the chance to recruit more)
I started the drama already spoiled about who the real psychopath is. But it's still interesting to see how things unfold and the ending is pretty satisfying.
Kinda sad Jung Jin Wook died just like that. I know he's a supporting role which is bound to die soon but Lee Wan is cute haha I hope to see him in more projects in the future
What I wished they put in the drama is KSJ and KMC past before Narae's murder. It was said they were close and KMC mentioned it in passing, but I think it would be better if they actually show their happy moments. I mean, Jihoon and Min is cute but I think they took too much screen time that can be use for KSJ and KMC story....

For me it was after the vote in the hospital when KMC tried to hit KSJ and Park rushed to protect him and called KSJ "Professor" instead of the usual "Inmate 0512", I was guessing Park is one of Gaetal
Gaetal #3 is prison guard Park! That's why KSJ called him his longtime friend, because Park was there at KSJ last trial! He's been with KSJ from the start. And I think in a way, he's more determined about this whole Gaetal than KSJ.

I've been thinking about when and why Kwon Seok Joo decided to escape. Did he plan it from the beginning, since he asked for a pardon? Or, is it a reaction when he found out that The Killing Vote had been hijacked by LMS? Kim Mu Chan seemed to think it's the latter. I also leaned more on the later. Because it's easier to avoid suspicion when he's literally in prison. He could continue to control TKV through Grandma and Ji Hoon, and spying on the police investigation, until he's released legally by pardon. But, KSJ only knew about TKV take over on the day of the vote. And after that he was stuck at the police station. The only communication to the outside he made was when he asked Jodan to tell prison guard Park to bring his book (that means Park is also Gaetal). Unless, KSJ also communicated with that Gaetal police secretly. And, what about Jung Jin Wook? How did he know about the escape? Did the Gaetal police inform him? I'm guessing KSJ already have some plans in store that ready to be implemented anytime needed.
But, I'm also wondering about when KSJ said to LMS that he doesn't have enough time. Why did he say that? Is it because he's planning to escape? It makes sense if he wanted to get away from the prison after the Gaetal did their original 4th vote plan. The death will be too many that there must a massive investigation following the incident and KSJ might be caught. Or...his illness is far worse than we thought and he's actually dying? (NOOOOOOO)
If only the drama delved more into the inner workings of Kwon Seok Joo's mind...
