I totally agree, these traditions are toxic and should be erased.

That's how I see it too, self-esteem, and Liu Yi Fei is playing it so well....The scenes with the husband and his mother much remind me of what a Chinese friend told me a few years ago when she used to live with her ex-husband and his mother, exactly like it's shown in this drama. When you are grown up in the West, just watching this is hard to endure.

Right, if the love of my life invites me going up with her, I don't think I would pick up the phone to answer ANY call... And I wonder (serious question), if people in South Korea don't undress when they want to make love...

I hope in the beginning of next episode 7 we don't hear her hysterically screaming: Oh my god, what have I done? ... I'm kidding, this will (hopefully) not happen in this story. I really enjoy their mature, intense interaction, slow and deep. And I especially like that at the end of episode 6, when they talked, the music fully stopped. Because the only thing that mattered in that moment were their words, nothing else.

I felt like the first 10 episodes could have been told in 45 minutes, dragging and dragging. Also, no chemistry between them, at least for me. I just follow because of FL and SFL, they are interesting characters.

Yeah, me too... The first 8 episodes were so great and I couldn't wait for the next one but then... Felt like they changed the director from the 9. episode on, became a bit dull and a bit too simple. The good people reached all their plans and the bad people failed in every step and got punished. Also, the acting was much better before, more challenging for the actors.

Yeah, boundaries... That's what I thought all the time while watching this drama. Intruding, trespassing, disrespect of boundaries, by the family and almost everyone around this couple.

Same for me. Just watched for ML but FL just boring. I don't know this actress but no expression in her face, all her suffering, her story with the same empty face.

Ah, all those foreigners, they are all bad people... (Western) foreigners look suspicious. But thank God, we have the Chinese hero to save us all, Life is so simple in some Chinese dramas, the good ones look beautiful, the evil look malignant and ugly, like in old fairy tales. Simple and boring.

Yes, that's the reason I watched it and liked it. Somehow every other role I've watched with this actress, it feels for me like it's actually Mu Deok stepping into other lives and other roles.

Glad I read this before so I was emotionally prepared. Actually, I feel this is the only possible ending for them.

I don't know what's wrong with me that I am still watching this. I don't even like the main actors, actually I feel all the other actors in this drama are playing much better. The main actor feels dull, I don't recognize the story in his face. And the female actor may look pretty in many eyes but looks empty to me. It feels like her role in this drama is just to look pretty, not a lonely princess but a doll. Maybe she's better in a better drama. The story with reference to dark fairy tales and childhood memories, the animation is basically very interesting to me but they make it so boring, dragging it back and forth, and how the main couple interact with each other is not convincing. Maybe I am still watching because I always hope, now, now it really gets better. The story, told better and with deeper understanding of the human psyche, made with actors like Lee Do-Hyun and Ahn Eun-Jin from "Good bad mother" would be a great drama, at least with Lee Do-Hyun nothing can go wrong. Update, after last episode: The main actress (Seo Yea Ji ) gets better later, can feel her emotions. And the brother is great. But the ML, at least for me, zero acting skills.

I was happy to see the main couple playing together again, I really like their chemistry after watching "Once We Get Married", and Wang Yu Wen in "Elephant". But this story is so boring and superficial, so poorly written and directed. Bad guys (Cheng) looking bad, good guys looking kind. Young rich beauties having a crush on doctors or musclemen, CEO assistants a little bit weird. No complaint on this, that's how these stories work. But I think it's not fun when a man's forcing himself into a woman's life, forcing himself into her apartment, "stealing" the child's attention with gifts and toys, even against the mother. I know this happens a lot in real life but is this funny? I hope the actors just did it for the money, not because they liked the storyline...

It's very interesting to see that so many people seem to love this show... My perception is totally different. After watching till the end (and skipping more and more scenes), it's one of the worst shows I have ever watched. All the dialogs, all the acting of the other actors is so superficial and numb. Even when a girl talks about her being abused, they put some tacky music below that scene. And the boy? For me, it's not really cute, he's more like a little tyrant, or little emperor, actually very typical for one-child policy China. Parents just try to satisfy the kid, fulfill the kid's wishes, not to guide, to educate the child. But I like the two main actors, it's the only reason I continued. I just hope these two find a better director someday, a director who has a deeper understanding of life.
