As the first Taiwanese BL drama adapted from a Japanese manga, it leans toward a dreamy and sweet tone. The supporting characters help move things along but fade into the background afterward. Its strengths lie in a clear and gradual main storyline, genuine chemistry between the leads, and emotionally charged kissing scenes in every episode. Apart from the romance, the other plot elements feel somewhat unnecessary, but the show delivers plenty of satisfying sweetness.
