He character in Sweet Home creeped me out a little bit,it's not that he generally did bad things but he was giving me bad vibes...which means he is an excellent actor!

CTJ was the only reason I watched Suspicious Partner and I loved him in both Missing 9 and Exit.What others may call wooden I personally call more natural acting. I've seen bad acting,imo this isn't it. I like how he makes all his characters a bit more quiet and realistic but I have to agree on one thing with most watchers here,his 'idol' scenes where he sings and 'dances' are in fact ridiculous.

I watched the first episodes and I didn't like it to be honest but I haven't rated it.I like the theme and I have watched some way more ridiculous stuff which I enjoyed but somehow the leads are throwing me off,especially the ML,I end up laughing every time he appears sorry,I don't know....He is just so serious and tries too hard to look hot and cool.But I guess low ratings after only two episodes are a bit unfair.

I must be one of the few people who enjoys how much of a mess is the FL and how uncool and slightly weird the ML is for an idol.I mean,I did say at the begining that CTJ is a good actor but doesn't remind me of an idol but I actually like this after all.Nothing wrong with idols,it's just that when actors portray famous people in dramas they tend to act a little too cool and stiff for my liking (and this can be funny),but he looks like a normal person instead,who obviously has some issues.

I don't know why the ML must be perfect...I mean,Mr Darcy,the ultimate ML of all times was far from perfect,and that's exactly why P&P was perfect!

Her not knowing if he is dead or alive all these years,having to move on and work very hard in a foreign country,all alone,all these things wouldn't be easy.No one knows the ending obviously,but I can't think who else that man in the begining could be.

Well not fall in love with him but maybe more flirting happening faster?The main issue I think is his ex rather than the fact that they don't know each other or that she is an anti fan.I feel like her existence is what is making everything very slow.

I think she is a bit slow tbh (to put it politely) but the point is that like the ML,she is not a bad person.

I see your point but I wouldn't say I'm bored.Still,I feel like so many things are supposed to happen and I don't know how they will take place withing 10 episodes.The ML should get over his ex,the leads are supposed to fall in love,since it's a drama the antagonists will do crazy sh*t to keep them apart and then there will be a misunderstanding that will break them up...in the end they need to be back together.It's a tight schedule and I have no idea when all of this is going to happen.

I don't agree,although there are no romantic feelings so far.I feel like she has an amazing chemistry with Hoo Joon,that is one of the main reasons I keep watching.The manager could possibly be a second lead,I don't think JJ is interested in her at all anyway so he is not an antagonist to the main romance.

I don't understand what that girl wants or,tbh,I do but I'd rather not think about it...she is probably a b**ch,sticking around her toxic bf in order to keep her career but still wants Hoo Joon so she will take action once she realises her ex likes the new girl...

Yeah,I agree it would be weird if they were already kissing lol (not accidentally) but I guess people hate the fact that they seem to have more friendly rather than romantic feelings evolving.I guess they'll be friends before lovers,not bad at all imo.

I am not expecting this to have a happy ending,bitter sweet at most.I mean it has avery heavy theme in the backround,surely they might want to give it a positive note since democracy was restored after all that tragedy but with so many people dying back then,I don't see how this could be end 100% happily.

I do think the man from the begining is Hee Tae and he thinks the body discovered belongs to Myung Hee since he probably lost track of her after the protests.But Myung Hee secretely managed to escape abroad and returns as an older woman (perhaps after a marriage with a dead or divorced husband and even children) to find him and tell him she's alive.

Although I understand what you mean by not the most handsome,he is still a beauty.Tall stature,broad shoulders,beautiful smile,eyes and voice,perhaps not the most impressive if you see him in a picture but once you see him in motion,truly charming.Not many korean actors have this type of charm,despite their obvious beauty.It's differents vibes.

Why just watch for actors though?Maybe there are other communists here from non communist countries who have no issue with the Chinese government.Perhaps you mean not discuss about the politics instead of not watch it for the politics,just saying...and I agree I suppose,there no reason for political fights in a drama fans site.
