Although there are many things I love here, I have to point out how awesome it is the fact that they showed us how people closed their shops. In dramas they usually just close their doors or have windows, but they placed some wood here, and the mechanism is so easy and yet so detailed. Also, when YZ broke the tea cup, later we saw that he actually broke the table's structure too. It was so amazing when that aide placed his body weight on the table and then the table broke. The details are leaving me so mesmerized. If we watch this with a "closed mind" like we usually do, to avoid some details/plot holes, we'll miss so many tiny details, even some physics (yeah, we can apply physics to fantasy!). The director and writer did an amazing job, the whole team worked so hard. Every part of this drama, even npcs and shops we wouldn't even pay attention, have details. I'm loving it so much

I think it's just a numbing medicine with some high quality herbs mixed. So his wound can heal faster (we do have a lot of things like that irl after all). China has always been advanced in medicine, so it's not weird. And he didn't heal faster, his wound just hurts less and he is still recovering
