This was sooooo cute But for me some things went downhill on the second part (✨️spoilers✨️) Qi Nian started really strong. She went after whatever she wanted or needed, but after she fell in love she became meek and reserved, but I thought that was just her development, cause she didn't know anything about love so maybe she just became shyer. But she changed like, 180° (360° is too much, she's still cute), she was reserved even with other people. She still was blunt and kept her boundaries tho, which's the best aspect about her imo. But even though she was quieter, she was still cute🥺 As for Ji Yanxin, his character/personality was better on the second half, but that's because he was in love and decided to pursue it. But it was strange how they made him confess. I could notice his subtle changes, but I never realized he was ready to start a relationship with her. When she was doubtful I was supporting her, cause it really didn't seem like he loved her (when he did). I also hated the way they made him make her feel jealous before he confessed to her, only an 'ILY' and they'd be together, all that act was very unnecessary. But, thankfully he became more humane on the second half, a dark green flag🤭 I didn't like Ji Siqi and Lu Qingwu's starting, he went to her just cause Qi Nian and Yanxin were together. But thankfully he was already falling for her, and it's not like LQW was a saint either. I was quite sad with LQW's story though, she was framed by her partner (and she didn't even know), I believe QN could've handled the apology better, LQW was played for so many years. She even tried to stray from that robbed story, but QN was still a little cold to her (if it were 1st half QN she would've forgiven LQW on the spot). But at least they became friends again. LQW and JSQ had the best chemistry out of the 3 couples, hope to see them together again in another drama. As for Ji Qiu and Shao, I didn't feel any chemistry till the end. The actors did an amazing job, but I just didn't feel~ this couple... but out of the 3, they were the most natural ones. They knew each other, they were both there for each other, they loved each other (in secret), it seemed like a real couple thing. It's not a bad thing to not feel chemistry, they were just naturally there for each other. Sadly this couple only got together on the last episode 🤡
Anyway, after writing this essay😁, I just want to state that this is such a comfy drama. It was cute, and other than QN's plot there was no misunderstanding between the couples (the ones that happened got resolved fast, in like, the same episode). There was only fluffy, comedy and love being thrown here🌸🥰

Well, HP experienced some trauma after that. When they found him, he only wanted to protect the book his father left. They (writers) didn't spend time with HP, but we did see HP trying to deal with the loss of his family. He was also a very mature child, he soon understood what happened

Ik the angst is closer, but for the first time I'm actually waiting for it to happen sooner. I can't with CXZ/CJ's lies anymore. I hope LMT finds out sooner that he lied to her throughout her amnesia, I wanna see what she's gonna do. I also hope he finds out that his archenemy is her 😂 the sooner the better, let's get this part over with and continue with the rest of the suffering till the happy ending 😂

No😭 I don't. I think he should've been arrested or something. Till the end nothing happened to him at all. Even though those things happened to his family, >nothing< excuses what he did. It was pretty unnecessary to be honest His mom was left there to suffer with her father, but it wasn't Gu Lang Hua or Jiang He who killed her, it was Zisheng's carelessness, but we can leave this be cause he was a child at that time and didn't drop that candle on purpose. But why would he kill thousands of people and rule the world cause of the mistake of ONE person? No one can sympathize with someone like this, not even his 'father'. He tried to make something his mom didn't have (a family), but he also blamed the world for what happened to him. Who sympathizes with this? But there's no way one can deny that he wanted that, cause of the scene with Jiang He at the end. He chose the path he walked on, his actions are his faults. But, if people were honest from the beginning, nothing would've happened. That's all, this isn't sympathy, it's the truth

I didn't sympathize though. It's obvious why he chose that path and I just said it. You can see at the end, when his father finally was honest, that if he had a family nothing would've happened at all. The family he was trying to create wasn't a loving one, he just wanted to have one. This isn't being sympathetic
