The last 5 episodes were very rushed. Some things happened out of nowhere (like Yan father's lackey saying that JXB was strange after leaving blossom beauty when it was besieged). Bai Yuan's ending was also strange, also Yao and Bai Yuchen's.
But I enjoyed it, it's a drama to watch and enjoy the comedy and love.

There're 3 main couples and their stories are pretty cute. I just closed my eyes to plot holes and enjoyed the show😂

Yeah. The purpose was only esthetics. But everything they do in this drama, the medical part, is quite clumsy. For example, there's no way SBL's nose could be that good in just some days, and even at that time. Now, with the eye, it moves like a normal eye, that's why it seems like he's seeing something when he's not🥲

Whenever I watched/read something about past memories or tropes like that, I always felt like the characters were looking for their past lovers, rather than the actual one. I loved the approach FaE took, Shi Yi is remembering the history and her drama plot, and is associating it with ZSC. I also loved the fact that past ZSC is from modern ZSC family tree
Rather than they keep looking for their past selves, I'm loving more their current experiences, while seeing some minor things that connects to what past CSY and ZSC did

Now that's something I loved. I don't like when characters possesses those memories, unless they gradually remember it (like in The legend of the blue sea). Maybe it's because I don't believe in previous/next lives, I don't like this type of trope either 😂 I am enjoying FaE cause they don't remember OaO
