@glittergirl I have hopes too, specially as in the first poster Ba Ram and Tae Poong were in wedding attire. Of course another ambiguous thing was that, IIRC, in the first scene when she walks in the ceremony in a bloody dress and talks about her love both young men were absent so it could be either of their blood.

A question: I've got a feeling that Ji Ho's mother/In Ha's father is going to be false alarm, at least if we consider the timeline. She told aunt that when they dated she was 24 and he 22 and we see Yoo Kyung late in her pregnancy in the background, so if Ji Ho and Hye Soo are of the same age she must be at least a few months older. Also In Ha seemed to be around 7-10 in the '95 flashbacks so his father couldn't be 22 3-4 years back.Maybe he lied about his age to conceal his wife and son or Yoo Kyung had a stillborn🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm really confused by that subplot.

Grandma watching all of family members' secrets and lies behind her cameras somehow remind me of Youn Yuh Jung's character in "The Taste of Money" movie.

Kang Baek reading Maurice was pretty poetic if you compare him with Clive Durham. A boy raised in a religious family, not much of a fanatic himself but still unable to shake the guilt and shame he feels.

Many viewers here must be happy that their thoughts about Kang Baek turned out to be right. Nice twist! An even nicer twist was Yoon Hyun's at the end!

I don't mind whodunit game and suspecting several people but I don't like it when after death happens, they keep adding up people and half of the characters turn out to be potential murderers, specially now that there can be up to 3 people involved.

I put it on a hiatus midway to wait for the ending and comments put me off even more from watching again. Now that it's finished, final is even more ridicolous, happy that I dropped it. I'm not a daily drama fan but I'm going to give the next drama a try to see if it's any better, at least it has better cast on page.

What a mess!! Considering it only has about 3 families (and small ones at that) with a light cast, it's not surprising they take turns in scheming with or against each other. Thanks for ellaborating.

Despite everyone saying it's a bad ending, I think it's a sad realistic one. It's true that in the real world power and money wins and weaker ones are crushed under strongers' heels, even if it's for a short while. MIL was a monster and she turned everybody around her to monsters as well and even though YJH thought herself as heartless, ambitious and ready to do anything for power, she just didn't have it in her to become the next matriarch. So she quit unlike her husband.

This drama is such a parodic tale that everytime I noticed its faults or was bothered about something, I would tell myself that "what's serious about this that you want .... to be serious." But dispite that, I wanted that dog story have some results, it was irritating how it was never mentioned again. All in all I enjoyed it much, much more than I expected, my little disappointment is that MC started to get increasingly boring after they fell in love and lost their comic flair and weren't even interesting, unlike other couple who were both lovey dovey and funny.

I'll spoil it for you a bit, his mom had some ducument made, saying they can't get divorced so he got angry. Also he told Seo Yoon to come back together but she said she doesn't want to be labled a home-wrecker again. In the preview he handed in his notice and left home with Seo Jun.
