I agree, actually It's the first daily drama I'm watching on the run (and maybe 2nd as a whole) so I'm far from being an expert, yet I too think it doesn't have as many characters and enough subplots to keep it afloat. Just 2 families and all these secrets even we don't know about aren't enough, maybe for a 16 eps. drama but not this long.

Exactly, I know that *they* can't know about all these hidden agenda and intentions yet, but what about us? As the audience, we're kept in the dark just as they are!! All episodes is spent either in the office doing nothing or having (im)polite dinner at each others' house.

I just hope she's ll be exposed soon and not on ep. 98

I wrote it before watching ep. 14, did you see it? How they trashed that poor woman around? It was painful to watch but because they're villains it's necessary to show how animalistic they are but when it's our heroine, it becomes a teiggering scene (which of course it is for some people)

It's interesting how So Ra has been hitting and abusing her bodyguard, husband, child, secretary, etc since 1st ep. and last week her father trashed her around but only now after KYG's outburst everyone are speaking against violence! (Not that it's any more or less disturbing to watch tho)

Yeon min jung and her mother are probably the most disgusting antagonists I've ever seen. The others (Jae hee, his mother and In Hwa) are just normal pathetic jealous types but these two are really too much. And the worst part is that at the end, Bo Ri and her family not only aren't free of these poisonous snakes, they are now burdened by their madness and invalidity. The mother losing her mind and loving the daughter she abused and enslaved for 20 years or Min Jung wanting love of a mother she threw away and humilliated all her life and still feeling greedy and having connection to their victims isn't a fitting punishment, at least by kdrama standards. Another terrible ending was the Moon Ji Sung after all the physical and mental hurt he had suffered because of Min Jung was shown to have a happy ever after with a replica of her!! Wth was that?? Who wants to look at the face of a person who ruined his life forever and by choice at that? If he was still single like Jae Hee it would be better that this.

I watched it a little after another one of its screenwriter's works "Unni is alive". As long and tedious watch as it was, UIA is far more watchable than this ridiculous mess. CJBR probably has the most stupid assembled characters ever, good and evil are annoying as h*** and the crown goes to FL, Bo Ri. She's not kind, pure hearted, forgiving or anything like that, she's a navie doormat.

No, I know her. There were two ladies in the family feast in ep 6 ,if I'm correct , one of them was the one with fixed eyes. I wanted to know if they were his father's widows or just some ladies? Because emperor called them as consort not dowager consort like Yunchong's mother.

I've only fast forwarded to ep. 10 but for now I think Jin woo sleeping with Yu Ra was too early amd unmeaningful, if they had stopped after he initially rejected her kiss, it would be better. Of course it's typical that cheaters get devastated when thery are cheated on!!
