Bedtime thoughts: What did happen to the extra 300000 ₩ Editor Yeo took from Editor Nam? It wasn't mentioned again. Did they just kept it silent and treated him to an expensive dinner?
This film with all its violence and suicides is quite disturbing, ironic that most of the people he goes to cripple…
But the most disturbing scene for me was when Kang Do granted Myoung Ja's (Crippled's wife) wish and tied himself to her truck. That bloody line in different roads was far more unsettling than all the movie. One just can imagine what she would find under her car after noticing that.

This was like my first modern, serious, not just watching cause telly shows it Chinese drama and it hugely disappointed me. I'm no feminist but attitude towards the 2FL and 2nd couple as a whole were downright offesive.
Something I'd like to know, was that how she's getting revenge in Jurchen, did she do the same method as Army Camp and that fire was because of killing the Zs she'd made there?
Soooo Heawon Cho clan had a hand here as well. Good for them to be so influential in all the mischief. The writers probably wanted us to like and sympathize with Ashin and some comments declaring #teamashin or understanding her show it. But all I see is a broken psychopath. Even worse than Cho Hak Joo and the Queen. She wants to massacre two nations after all.
Happy to see even a bit of Beom il, I liked him in S1, such a pity he died too soon. I always fancied Chang saving him before the bite and they become reluctant allies.
I like the prince. If she wants to hurt him, I won't have any problem watching her die the most painful way possible.
If we want to talk about who started it, as much as it pains me, that one was Young Shin who cooked a corpse who had clearly died of some weird sickness and gave it to people.
The tiger killed many people but ate nobody, the tribe had no proof to blame anyone else for the death of those…
I don't say I was disappointed and seeing her father blind loyalty to the Joseon I was sure, they do something to her village and it's a revenge but, her actions were insane. The writers wanted sympathy for her, like they probably did with the Queen who was hated by her father in s2 but she had the characterization of a psychopath and in the last 20 or so minutes, she just let everything loose. Ans now she's after killing 2 whole nation.
I first came to know about this in 2016 iirc, but reviews and plot discouraged me from watching, now that after years I finally watched it, I knew what were those complaints about. The original plot isn't bad itself, but this pushing away/pulling in game and characters' motives were beyond stupid and boring.
I was always curious about why everyone seem to be hating the wife, now I completely understand them. She's one of the most annoying and dumbest FLs I've seen in kdramas.
Have seen the Western version, can’t help but compare. I felt like the female lead (Zhang Ziyi) just not as…
I agree with you. Zhang ziyi for some weird reason looked so rough and not attractive enough for a player. (Idk if you've seen korean version, but despite praises, that isn't mush better as well)
