I would say yes. It's a bit different then with most other BL stuff because the novel was written after the script…
Really? I'd heard it's an original work but seeing the novel'd made me doubtful. No wonder it's so similiar to the drama, I've only read till ch 2 though. Is 27 translated chapters first book?
I think that he is the guinea pig of some sort of experiment that took place on a ship. ( the best place to hide…
Yes. We saw that the "finaceè" was hand in hand with the Russians so it's possible they're doing some sort of experiments and everyone survives the fall in the ocean, is the so called Prophet.
I started watching return in 2019, but paused it several times while patiently avoiding spoilers. Finally I've got to finish it last week. It's a fast-paced, intriguing drama with complex and interesting characters but last 2 episodes were really disappointing and lack luster. I kind of wish I didn't finish it. It became one of those dramas I'm going to pretend ending did't happened.
I'm 4 episodes in and I can't stand them tbh. How can they be so dumb and ridiculous!!!!
Actually I didn't continue. It wasn't really my cuppa, but as I've heard its 5,6 first episodes were slow, I decided to read recaps before dropping it.
God I'm not even going to watch this but I'm already frustrated with seeing it at upcomings first page every time!! I can only sympathize with fans who've been waiting for years!
I've just started this drama and it's already giving me sport anime vibes, when the respective sport they're playing is the best in the world and everyone wants to do it and parents are old rivals. Rich kids learning music and arts is a fact and relatable but it's kind of unreal how they're killing so all their children can be successful classical singers. Specially in boys' case. They're both only sons and heirs to great fortunes and businesses (Law firm and Construction) but we see all this emphasis on being a singer!!
I'd watched this after Youtube recommended it several years ago and had all but forgotten about it. Coming across the first film brought back all of story. I haven't seen that one completely but even so, this one is so much better. Still a mediocre production but with a strong potential. Characters have potential to be multi dimensional and layered but writing'd made them predictable and linear. Good thing that despite hardships and so much angst it finished on a good note.
Love affairs, secret relationship, infidelity, birth secret, greedy rich people, power struggle, murder mystery,…
I believe first thing is that TVN doesn't promote it much and it isn't as available to international viewers. Second point is that in recent years these kind of mature dramas have been produced one after another so they've became a trope of their own!! Not necessarily brilliant but one should be controversial, have something special or be quite available to attract audience. An exclusive village with several luxurious mansions and women in exquisite dresses aren't enough anymore. Plus if anything, this drama is complicated, it's full of characters and every one of them have a secret of their own, and in every episode something new is introduced. It's a double edged sword, keeps the intrigue for some and bores the other, personally I'm in the middle now. I know the ending of the source novel but given how this story's been going, I'm not as sure they stuck to that.
I can't believe it's halfway through and we're no way near the end! I like this drama, on one hand it's so boring for me I skip most of the filler scenes, yet I can't wait to see what will happen next!!! Specially considering the book ending.
Who would YOU want to cast?
