As much as I like this Japanese style, but I can't help wishing this was a kdrama so we wouldn't have to wait around 12 days for subs. Any way I'm really grateful to the people doing its subs. It's a clean job❤❤
If they follow the novel, then yes, Yeon Woo is Soo Hyun's brother's son. Yeon Woo's mother died when giving birth…
Really? I haven't read the book but I remember plot of a Japanese TV special based on it and it was quite different. Does it have english translation??
The first six eps are edge of your seat exciting, but the following eps are only an intensification of melodrama.…
The plot is rather original. And it could be such a great hit but it just slow down then gets dragged all the way till the last episode. I barely remember the order of the last 10 eps events.
I came back to give my final rating only to see it's dropped to under 8, sad to say but I completely understand this. Such a waste of a wonderful cast and characterization!!!
In 2nd episode, brother in law visit was really awkward, tense and fishy. Is he YW's father? Considering he had a restraining order on him, maybe YW is Eun Soo's sister's child??
First 2 episodes were messy, dark and full of subplots. I didn't really like Eun Soo, hope she gets more interesting and her facial expressions become more diverse.
What did really irritate me was the threatening ex-tenant kind of just disappeared. Instead of all these it's not you, it's my dad nonsense or even Gyeom's accident. She and her threats could've been a perfect break up material.
I was on a trip on Thu and Fri so I kind of missed all the fuss about the ending. Honestly the ending made me disappointed. So disappointed!! First that ridiculous subplot with YW's father then her disappearance. I don't know how he could forgive her so easily and readily. Either the ending was so rushed we missed the big fight and explanation drama or they just hugged all heartbreaks away!! Even others at MMH, specially Ui Joo. How did she reacted that her close friend suddenly went away and didn't come to her wedding. If this (un)noble idiocy had taken place in half way drama instead of Ja Sung's break up something could've been done but in the last week?? Nooooo!! I'm officially going to pretend the last 30-40 min didn't happen at all
It's a simple story with a simple message. It doesn't need tons of expensive CGI. I am sure they are paying all…
Ohh, thank you so much for the time you spent and detailed answer. Actually, I live in a similar community and one of the reasons I find this drama so delightful is that it's so relatable to my daily life and struggles of the society (it's safe to say it's even worse) And rent/deposit system is similar as well. So he has been very generous with her, it seems. No wonder Yeo Ui Joo was shocked to know she only pays 400000 ₩.
Hey fellow MMH watchers, where are you going after this?? I just don't want to lose track of such dear funny commenters!! I'm starting "The road, tragedy of one" tommorow myself.

I wanted to ask this from netizens. How much discount do you think CEO Yoo has given YW for her flat? She lives in a good fuenished house with security in a seemingly good neighbourhood, yet she pays as much as a semi-basement and lower than a rooftop, on top of that with no deposit. I'm Just curious!
I think Hemingway is something like a messiah or a chosen one for some cult. First I though he was a cult leader but after watching with subs, the man in white's words that "It's not time for him, you and the world to know yet who is he" made me doubt it. Really strange drama
https://www.d-addicts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=165794It will be subbed :D
Really!? Thank God!! I just can't see/hear/ read what I don't understand, but at the same time it seems really intriguing and I didn't want to drop it.
May someone who understands it tell me what happened after the elevator scene in ep 1?
It was clear that he's some sort of cult leader but after that story was dialogue orientated and I didn't understand who was the man in white and why he threw himself from the window.
