What was the point of all that fuss about his friend's death when the honorary chairman's murder was never solved? Did they say it was because he was after the former president's slush funds? Or I missed it😬

He's not happy at all. I think he wants to cleanse the company of older people and bring in his own supporters to not to let his brother return as smoothly as his wife believes but he's waking up too soon.

I think they dragged the truth behind their relationship too far. It's only 12 eps. and they are only discussing it in ep.9! Even if they wanted to make a deal out of it, they should've told us(as the all seeing audience) how are they related!

Is he half sibling of the mom? As having the same mother so different surnames? Is he a cousin? An old friend who was raised at their home so feels close the the mom and her probably late husband? Also we aren't told if his birth mother was a mistress or a 2nd wife and step mother.

Are they going to tell us the president isn't aware of the relationship between his brother and SJ? Or he's laying to thick and making a fuss to both hit DW and distract SCI?

You know what's caught my eyes here? It's rather common in kdramas to pair real life older women/younger men as being the same age or the woman being younger. (Noona romances not included) Being believable or not depends on the pair and their general aura and manners but the female almost always looks the same outside and in drama unless it's a Saeguk.


However, about RS I knew KHN is older by several years and I binge watched the first 4 eps. as I couldn't watch at the first week and I'd came across some comment saying she looks older than the others namely Rain but when I watched it, as you said she looked the same age as her costars. The other day I was seeing some pics of the press conference and watched some interviews in YT. She clearly older and that was interesting for me how a subtle change of hair style and make up can age and de-age a person.

As the other person said, the games are distributed between 3 public channels so their dramas will take a hit but cable channels like tvN and jtbc or web dramas like this one will be aired/streamed as planned.

I think hiding Chunhee's death has been WS's idea in the first place. I think it was episode 3 with the family picture but I think it was said she didn't want people know the Angel of Chariry lost her child while on a trip so hid it and said he went to a boarding school.

I noticed that too. Don't think ever heard anyone having that accent. Funny that she was so eager to talk English like some person practicing their speaking skills at every chance they get. 🤣

Hollywood has only shown Asian as Chinese, Indians and Arabs in their most basic and typical appearances and tropes since forever, now Korean are so deep into their copying that they're employing the same clichés. Persian Gulf princes throwing around their petro dollars like mad, no philippians in Manila (this was discussed a lot), A Western Asia criminal organization and lastly showing Africa as the symbol of poverty. I've already made a comment about this one, how she met her husband doing charity there, sending vaccine there and having black children at her foundation home looking all white. 😖😬🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't want the hubby dead but usually when they have this kind of broken characters with too much trauma, they would kill them off. Also, mother, despite her constant physical and mental abuses seem to love him in her twisted way, the kind you see from evil parents, maybe his death would be her punishment. She prides herself in building an empire to give to her son but all goes awry and he's dead anyway. Makes her confided and a mad house for the rest of her days screaming at the wall. 🤯🤯

Oh, you mean that, I thought there was something in this week episodes that I missed. You're quite correct, that's just ridiculous. Thanks for pointing it out,I wanted to do so several times but forgot. This is a melodrama with a touch of action, there's no need to involve something so out of the place and unrelated.



They just wanted to make an action plot for WS and DY's bloody meet cute and later blame the drone attack on and chose the most BS one while they could've easily insert a local gangster group. Koreans love making Harbin aliens all sort of criminals, should've gone with that.


Like a formerly huge powerful multi-national terrorist organization with billions of funds now dismantled and distributed to the smaller parts whose MO is mass murder a/or blowing themselves up in a crowd would suddenly care to assassinate a single priviledged lady from across the world who'd asked for the supreme court to act. As if anyone would listen to her. 🤦🏻‍♀️😬😬 First time I saw it I burst out laughing from how preposterous it was. Completely unnecessary
